      ColdRusalka's Workbook

      Reality Checks:

      + Look at hands
+ Examine environment when my phone alarm goes off throughout the day

      Dream Signs:

      + Tornadoes
      + Cloudy/stormy weather
      + Flying
      + Wearing unsuitable clothing

      Sleep Cycle:

      ~7.5 hours
      Sleep between 11:30 + 1:00
      Wake between 7:00 + 9:00

      Short-Term Goals:

+ Meditate for 10min when I wake up, and 10min when I go to sleep. (I find that when I am meditating regularly I have more spontaneous LDs.)
+ Write down at least one dream per night for the next week.
+ Add techniques listed below into a daily routine.

      Long-Term Goals:

+ Have an LD by April, or make noticeable progress
+ Gain better control over LDs, specifically lengthening the dream
+ Keep a daily routine that gives favorable conditions for LDing

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:

+ I began LDing when I was 13 or 14. I had a lot of luck with WBTB, WILDing, and would occasionally have lengths of time where I would have them spontaneously.

      Current Technique:

      +MILD while falling asleep.
      +WBTB when I can.
+WILD when napping, or in the early morning.

      Motivations:

+ Recording dreams in a dream journal for recall and art inspiration
+ Using LDing to get ideas for new work
+ Using LDing to work though personal fears and struggles
+ Using LDing to seek advice in difficult situations
+ Using LDing to test and study the limits of LDing itself
+ See if it's possible to have shared dreams, or receive information not available in WL

Cold, welcome to the class. Meditation helps relieve stress and seems to set intention to LD better (and expectation and awareness) and make it easier to LD and easier to work harder to LD without getting stressed! It is a good goal.

I do have one fault with your post (and it should be encouraging). There is no such thing as a spontaneous LD. Everything that you do in your life increases or decreases your odds of LDing. If you do not know anything about LDing he odds are low, and if you know about LDing but dont practice, the odds are a little higher. So though it seems to be a spontaneous thing, but something that you are doing is making you lucid (even if it is at the beginning of a dream).

Good luck LDing. if you have any questions about LDing you can ask them here or PM me.

That's a good way to look at it, I suppose I should have wrote DILD instead, I'm just not used to using that term.

So, I'm not a fan of online dream journals, it seems a bit too personal for anyone to read, but I'll post some keywords, and any highlights that seem useful.

      Goals Met

      + Meditating Daily
      + Daily RCs
+ Writing down dreams (though the past three days I've failed to remember due to early morning distractions)
+ Attempted to WILD a few times, but usually just fell asleep.

      Goals That Need More Work

+ Could put more effort into DJ
      + Actually practice WBTB

      Dreams + Experiences

      Thu 3-13

+ Traveling in the woods Vivid: ***** Non-Lucid
+ High school acquaintance at movies, candy Vivid: ***** Non-lucid

      Fri 3-14

      + Terrarium Studio Vivid: ***** Non-lucid
      + Sneaking on bridge Vivid: ***** Non-lucid

      Sun 3-16

      + Eggs kiln Vivid: ***** Non-lucid

      Mon 3-17

      + Bicycle and Moose Vivid: ***** Non-lucid
      + Banking and Kissing Vivid: ***** Non-lucid

      Notes

+ I'm thinking I need to not try and type my dreams up on my phone when I wake up, as I tend to be too groggy to write anything of great value. I'm going to try recording my voice this week.

+ I've read and completed Lessons I, II, and III now.
