I first found DreamViews a year or so ago. Didn't have the time then to get into it, and I didn't want to. Now though, I've got more time, and a lot more reason to try this out. I've had at least one lucid before, but it was when I was maybe ten. So a little while ago I'm excited for this adventure, and I'm looking forward to remembering what it's like to LD!

Reality Checks:
- Awareness; I take in my surroundings, details, shadows, everything I can, and I take into account how I feel (basically an idea I got from reading the ALA guide. I'll work up to where I'm constantly analyzing my environment like this.)
- Nose Plug
- Count fingers/try to levitate. I switch these two up depending on how I feel.

Dream Signs:
- My aunt
- My dad
- Horses/riding horses
- The barn
- My dad's place of work

Short-Term Goals:
- Have a lucid dream
- improve dream recall

Long-Term Goals:
- Learn how to control/stablize lucid dreams
- Talk to DCs/find DG

Lucid/Dream Recall History:
- Have had one lucid dream that I can remember.
- My recall fluctuates like crazy, but I remember on average one dream a night.

Current Technique:
- All Day Awareness.
- Keeping a waking journal (Today will be my third day doing this. I remembered three separate dreams from last night after writing down my day, more than usual.)
- I've tried SSILD a few times. I've had one FA while doing it, but I wasn't close to attaining lucidity.

Generally I wake up around 7 AM. I work Saturdays at 6 in the morning, so I have to wake up at 4:30 on Saturday's. At night I'm usually in bed by 9 or 10. So, my sleep schedule could be better, but it's pretty easy to maintain.
