My general dream themes seem to have changed since I joined the forum...thanks smudge for making me realise this...
Previously a dream sign was trying to find my way home and being lost.
Now it seems to have been replaced by being on a secret mission.

I take this to be as I felt lost direction-less in life before but now I feel I have a reason/mission to accomplish. @@ Yay

That is a great idea! I especially like assigning a score for day work instead of just the usual recall and dreams we count for competitions.

I remembered that when I was younger, much younger xD I used to try repeatedly to bring dream objects that I had created out of my dreams and into "waking state"
weird I had completely forgotten about being lucid and trying that many times...wow only watching a video about lucid layers triggered that memory.

I have been laying in bed sick, slipping in and out of consciousness. So I thought i'd try SSILD as I have done meditation on inner sounds before and enjoyed it.

      2 things that puzzle me:

      1) I tried focusing on closed eyelids and realised that whenever I go to sleep normally my eyes turn down and I look onto a kind of inner canvas,on which images appear
As soon as I realise I have slipped into this type of scene I wake up.
      2) I can look to another place within my minds eye and see a seemingly random scene.
The scene turns into crystal clear HD quality video but despite many attempts I cannot step into the picture. A kind of hole opens up but I cannot cross into it.

I haven't got much of a clue about this both are quite different experiences that I can choose to follow.

I was reading about stimulation of the frontal lobes via the Amygdala by simply visualising "Thinking about it"... (thanks smudge for this)

The activation of the right frontal lobe while in rem sleep has been shown to be essential to be "conscious" i.e lucid while dreaming
So....could you use the same process of visualisation to potentially trigger the right frontal lobe and activate lucid dreaming!!
Is what i'm thinking...adding to my arsenal of pre-sleep stuff.

Lol, I've tried to do this a few times during and after lucid dreams. Alas, it's still not working.

I see that the amygdala practices are becoming viral now. I just asked Smudgefish as how to perform this clicking. Sounds like a good tech to experiment with.

Yeah I think I just get excited about anything new...but really this time it's all smudge's fault.
I will stick to normal-ish routine else things will get to crazy.

Reverlation time! MY subconscious is trying to help me LD .....
Now i've had a dream with VIVID light GREEN
      Then VIVID BLUE
      Finally VIVID pale PINK
      in four separate dreams,
these are the colours I use for marking...so I thought what does marking have to do with anything important...
I thought marking = writing in books = dream journaling!
MY SUBCONSCIOUS is telling me to look through my dream journal for dream signs...and take my recall/journal more seriously I think.
I have been glass half full recently (maybe cos i've been sick) now I will be glass half FULL about my progress...and check out my journal daily...
