Thread: WILD attempt

So I attempted to LD through WILD today.
I lay in bed during an afternoon nap and put headphones on that was playing binaural tones and some soft piano music on top.
After a while, i felt a soft tingly sensation. But that was it. I started getting bored as I was just laying there, but suddendly, I heard a low growling voice followed by a sudden feeling of tightness around my body and my eyelids felt like they were forcidbly shutting tigher. I didn't really physically see any hypnogogic images or swirling colors as other people keep talking about. However, after a while, I was seeing scenes before my eyes, as if I was watching a movie. I wasn't 'IN' the scene, I was lying in bed and it felt like I was watching a movie scene from bed. During these scenes, I had lost my lucidity, but kept flashing back into my concious state of lying in bed. After about 3 or 4 diferent scenes, I told myself that I had to take control of these scenes before I would fall into sleep for real. I imagined the scene of a beach in front of my with a friend at at the scene yelling out 'Come On! Jump into this scene!'. So i jumped into the beach and she told me to start running, to slowly feel the dream becoming more real. Feel the weight of my legs and the wind blowing againts me. I was consistently rubbing my palms together, but the whole time, I couldnt feel anything. It still felt like the whole dream was my imaginationg and I could feel my arms and legs in bed. I'm not sure if I experienced an LD, but if I did, it wasnt very vivid at all.
