Is it unhealthy to think about what you want? |
I wouldn't say so. I'm happy with my life, but I'm happier with the one I have in my LD's also. Just try and enjoy them both. |

[] Have a Lucid Dream that lasts all night.
“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.”

I think people can get addicted to virtually anything and can make something normally great, unhealthy. Unless you find your self laying in bed all day, never leaving in hopes of having more lucid dreams than I think its great and can help improve your life and make you happier. |

LD Goals: [x]=succeed [-]=working on or almost
sex[x] flying[x] meeting Justin Bieber[-] go to space[x] hallucinate[-] be an air bender with Aang[ ] become a transformer and be able to instantly change into an autobot[ ] fly to the moon[x] fight master chief[ ] Be an animal going to a people zoo[ ] Go to a theater in the 1920's and watch the premiere of a silent Charlie Chaplin film[ ] Meet Albert Hoffman and consume a huge dose of LSD with him[ ] Be rolling while DJing massive rave[-]
No, it isn't healty to develop an addiction to LDing, but to be addicted, you would have to start forcing yourself to stay asleep and stop eating properly/other harmful stuff. |

TBH, I would prefer the dream world over reality any day (Limbo, I guess you could say). The moment I wake out of a dream I immediately think "If only I were still dreaming..". I hate waking up. I'd rather be lost on my own mind. It's not at all unhealthy unless ^ what they already said. |
but how about if u lost something u cant get back in reality and u relive it constantly in the dream world?? |
I once read about a young man who claimed to have had some sort of head injury when he was an adolescent and as a result slept a lot longer than most people do. |
I say yes. It's easy to get addicted to something that makes you happy ( drugs, alcohol, video games, masturbation, adrenaline, etc.. It's all really same in terms of addiction ) |
I thought about this when I first heard about lucid dreaming also, but after time, you see that the consistency of being lucid isn't too much in the beginning. But as long as you still wake up and do things, I think it's fine. You're sleeping anyways, might as well enjoy it. =D |

yuuppp..u guys are probably ryt..but wat about ppl going through down times in their life..the ones that are capable of suicide??wouldn't they be able to get kinda crazyy with lucid dreaming that they'd rather not wake up anymore??or try to do something to stay lucid and not wake up or something lyk dat?? |
I don't think you're actually looking for an answer... That's like the second/third time you've pulled a "yeah, but" =/ |
haha..LOL.im just fishing for opinions really..coz i've seen a movie wer i guy went nuts and nvr wanted to wake up from his dream world.just curious really if it's possible..coz datz lyk a hazardous thing.but yea it brings more good then bad..LOL |
On the contrary... if someone wants to lucid dream, they got to have an awesome healthy life to get more and more. When someone with suicidal thoughts feels like having lucid dreams it's more likely they've found a reason for living than escapism. |
Uh, jojo/karli, thats what everyone said? That its possible to get addicted and it isn't healthy? Guess you read it all wrong <.< |
no man. you're not escaping anything. The only place you're going is deep inside your mind to do whatever you'd like. think of it this way.. most of us have shitty lives most likely and lucid dreaming boosts our self esteem. it does for me anyway. i hope you get to feeling better yo |

"I'm trying to watch Clash of the Titans and all I can hear is the two of them screaming about Morris Day at the top of their lungs."
About the down times, many people go through them, just give it some time and see what happens and dont lose faith. |
