Question Last night I experienced something special. help.

I'm shook. Last night was special and I don't know what really happened out there.. I'm a bit scared but at the same time I'm curious. I needed to talk about this experience to some people that won't think I'm crazy so that's why I googled for help and found this forum.

So first of all, Dream Views Community, thank you for existing !

What happened last night was so intense that I remember almost every little details. Even tho English is not my native language I'll do my best to put these images, sensations and feeling into words.
By the way I know what Lucid dreaming is, but what happened was beyond that... I need answers. please.

      ----------
      Warning wall of text incoming.
      ----------

      I was dreaming.
When I woke up it was already 1:17 am so that's roughly 2-3 hours of sleeps right there so at that point I had probably a few dream cycles in me.

The dream itself wasn't too clear. I had doubts it was a dream but you know, It wasn't freaky yet so I didn't know.

a woman. speaking to me with formal language something like a briefing to some task or something. I can't really say what she was telling me. I leave. now things are more clear. out lines. Darkness, but objects are clear. in fact there are metallic platforms floating.

I'm jumping from platform to platform. they are not that far to each other and I know that I would be able to make it in real life too. But in the dream ? man I'm going through them like a beast, Usain Bolt style, touching only one foot on each platform.
At that point i'm like WOW this is not real, I'm definitely dreaming.

At that point I had control over my dream. I've been lucid dreaming ever since I can remember... But to have control in my dream ? I knew some people could do it but for me it was a first.

So yeah, back to the dream, I started to control my jumps, pushing my self to extreme limits. Jumping higher and farther. It was so easy and effortless and at the same time I can remember the joy in my heart, the satisfaction of finally having control over my dream. It was a great experience. But if only it would end there....

I said to my self that I should test my limits and should jump the hardest that I could. but since I was following a straight path of platforms, my jump was not high, it had this kinda Driver golf shot feel to it.. a liner. That's where I understood that you don't have limits in the dream world.. I jumped so hard that I continually gained speed.. I can see the platforms under my feet going so fast.. and it wasn't slowing down. at that point I had totally lost control over my dream. I was gaining momentum non stop.. so fast...

That's where it gets freaky... that's the very moment where the story takes a turn towards something beyond lucid dreaming.

As I'm speeding in the air, everything around me turns from darkness to plain white. everything is white. I'm just being there in the blank white space. I can see that there is some kind of grid pattern in front of me. but everything is just white with little difference in the color tones.

Silence. Whiteness. The very moment lasted like a second, or even a split second. But I had the time to feel this peaceful sensation through my body.
I know I'm basically awake. my eyes are shut. The dream ended. I know that I'm in my bed, I know exactly how all my body parts are placed in the bed. I'm fully conscious.

And here it goes, the most intense moment in all my life...

I feel this pressure, HEAVY pressure on my upper body. forcing me into my bed. like I'm sinking. No i'm not sinking, I feel like that's what it wants me to do but real world physics doesn't allow me to sink inside solid materials. I feel like my bed is inclined 45 degrees down. it's scary.

The white grid is starting to move. I see it. I remember it, it's so clear. the outlines are perfect. Shapes, mainly 2D squares are flying towards me. I see small symbols and writings that I have no idea what they mean. they are flying towards me, or I'm flying towards them. I don't know. it's overwhelming. I'm continually gaining speed and there is this sound.. it sounds like a machine or some magnetic field humming. "VVVRRRR VVVVRRRR!!!!" and it gets louder and louder.. I feel relaxed but at the same time I'm scared..

While all this intense visual and physical experience is happening I have this image.. Not as clear as the white grid that is going through me at the speed of light.. way more blurry.. it's me, it's not an imagine just a black outline of my body being pressured forward inside my bed.. the outline is perfect. but everything is blurry. Black. it's not a visual it's a feeling. the full consciousness of my body place. I feel it.
      I can't explain...

( for example, when you are working... You see the task you are currently doing but you have these images of someone/something you think of at the same time. it's like you see two images at the same time. ) so in my case I'm seeing the white grid visually and I'm feeling my body outline as an image... it's really hard to explain.

Now it's getting too intense for me.. The humming sound is so loud ! The grid is going so fast that it's scary.. I can't even tell what shapes are passing by because it's just too damn fast. I don't know where this is going but at the same time I am conscious that I'm still in my bed. awake.

I don't know where I'm going but I think I'm close to where I'm going because there is this voice speaking to me. It's MY voice. asking me if I'm sure that I want to live it.
Everything that happened at that point was strangely familiar like I went through this numerous times. But it was the first time I was conscious that it was happening.

Basically my own voice is asking me if I want to go all the way and experience "it". What is "it" exactly ? my voice seems to know what's about to happen but not me!
So far I'm scared but not enough. I'm just letting shit happen, I can't respond anyways.

The white grid is going faster and faster and the sound is louder and louder.. Vibrations. I feel my whole body shaking.. it's getting very scary. My voice ask me one more time If I'm sure if I want it but it does not tell me what's really going on.
The vibrations are painful. my whole body is not relaxed anymore. all my muscles are contracted.
I'm so scared I'm trying to say no but I can't so I try my best to open my eyes and hopefully end it.. I ear this sound, like some sort of reversed cymbals "ssssshhhhhSSSHHHLACK!" and I open my eyes at the same time. My heart is beating at an insane pace. I can't move a single part of my body. I was paralyzed for a good 2 to 3 minutes... could not move a toe.

End of the freaky experience. what the fudge happened there ?!?! I KNOW it's beyond dreaming. I was there the whole time. in my bed. awake.

keep in mind that all of this lasted just a minute maybe. it was so fast but every detail is so vivid that it makes for a 10 minutes story. It's crazy never seen anything like this !

So yeah. If you read this thank you, and congratulations you successfully went through the wall of text. Now if you can give me any pointers ?

I'm curious I'd like to go back there.. I don't know. it's scary but it felt special. and I left only with questions...

First of all, welcome to the forums! What you experienced is called sleep paralysis. We go through it every night unconsciously so we don't act out our dreams. Some people are unfortunate and wake up into this and are frightened, because of not knowing about it. The white space part, I believe that when you tried to jump as high as possible, you were actually flying, very very fast, and you just broke the dream scene and just entered a white void, like dream space. The grid could have been hypnagogic imagery. Hope this clears some things up, as you can know go on to research sleep paralysis.

Sounds insane, I wonder what "You" meant by going all the way?
      EDIT:
Reminds me when you jumped out way high, it reminds me of something I read about on this other forum. One of the things mentioned were "Dream bubbles" and how your dream only occupies a certain amount of small space, he said you can go to other, "Dream bubbles" but they have to be entered a certain way I think. That's probaly what the white space was, you might have exited your dream in a sense.

my voice did not say "going all the way". word for words I was asking myslef "est-ce que tu veux le vivre ?... es-tu certain de vouloir le vivre?" meaning "do you want to live it?... are you sure you want to live it?"
but since it was basically me talking to myself I knew that's what he was trying to say. because it felt like I was traveling towards something or it felt like I was about to reach an important point. but I was so scared that I made it stop right before it happened.

Now i'm curious and I would like to know what was going on...

yeah the white space might be the void between dream bubbles..
but how can I be sure about this? at that point I was basically awake with my eyes shut.. fully aware of my body laying in my bed.
and then this physical pressure and then starting to fly in the white space like crazy with humming sounds and perfect outlines of my body.. it was weird, man. I don't know what happened for sure. I'd like to go back.

Hello MisterTrep. Welcome. If you want to get better control on your LDs, stick arround here, on Dreamviews.

As said, what you experienced was, definitelly, sleep paralisys. We go through this state every night, but usually we are unconscious. You woke up - your mind did - but not your body, and, with sleep paralysis, you experienced Hallucinations (hypnagogic hallucinations), and you had really hard ones.
All of those experiences you described are well known here at the community, some people even go through it (but the hallucinations are different for every person, some don't even see them or feel them, others have big ones like yours) with the WILD technique.
So, you know what you had was SP, just do some research of it here at the forums.

Sleep paralysis and hullucinations. Sometimes its fun and sometimes its scary. I love the feeling but my first time was very INTENSE.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

      Welcome to the forums!!
I used to freak out (and still do depending on the intensity!) during SP, but it basically means that your physical body is sleeping while your mind is awake. If you can maintain awareness long enough without getting too excited, you can sometimes slip into a lucid dream. Its a good way to take advantage of it if its something the happens a lot and plaques your lucid dreaming experiences!

this sounds like a DMT trip. And DMT is in our brains, we dont have to smoke DMT to hallucinate or actually go into crazy dream realm. DMT is released in our brains everynight when we dream and it IS the most intesnse halucinative chemical we can find/create.
Dripping time into a seed that grows into the world and sprouts a fruit that ripens into humans. They stretch up into the sky looking for purpose, wandering when and if their time has come. Realizing the potential they have, they select their paths which weave in and out to make the good and the bad, the pure and the corrupt...

Definitely a classic case of sleep paralysis. It's basically the transition stage from waking to dreaming, and as long as you know that it is natural, and is not something that will hurt you, you should hopefully be able to create something positive out of it. You're not alone! Listen to the song "Scissor Lock" by dredg, it's about sleep paralysis.
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.
