Unhappy Lucid dreaming and sp experience help... very scary

Hi I'm new here (15 y.o) and I have just had the worst experience of my life. I have been lucid dreaming a lot since I was 13 and love it. But tonight just scared me, I was in control in the dream, yet not. Them, when I woke up due to overwhelming fear, I had a horrible s.p. First time . I dont think I will go back to sleep tonight . 2 o clock here btw. And I don't want to lucid dream again if this will become repetitive. Please tell me how I can continue lucid dreaming, but not have any more sleep paralysis . I mean I'm shivering right now . My mom and dad are at a club and my grandpa watching us is out getting us food for tomorrow . I'm not kidding u this is bad....

I don't know a way how to stop it but I do know a way on how to confront it. What you do is first do research on SP. After you know what it is and know that it can't harm you in any way you should then not worry about it. If it happens again the first thing to do is not to get scarred because it will just last longer. After that you have 2 options. The first is to wait and get out of it. The second is to use it for a lucid dream. I hoped I helped

Come on it's only your mind. Enjoy it. They can't hurt you.

Mind over matter, anything and everything you see cannot harm you.

Hehe that's silly! You can't not have sleep paralysis! It's a natural process that you encounter every night and it prevents us to act out our dreams. The only difference is that when you're asleep you're not conscious of this.
When encountering conscious SP try to not think of bad things and even if they still occur just dont pay attention to them. Those are just thoughts from your mind. Try to sleep again and launch yourself into a LD again.

I've had SP so many times...I just laugh or smile to myself if I hear or see anything..afterall, they're just hallucinations.

Had SP yesterday and every time I tried to move I heard a high pitch electric guitar playing..weird

There is no way to avoid SP, but it almost never happens when awake. Just relax when it happens, it can't hurt you.
