Hey, |

How are you going about your reality checks? You might want to really consider the fact that you could be dreaming. It sounds stupid, but we don't question our dreams while we're in them because they feel as real as waking life at the time. It's important to do your reality checks with some skepticism as to whether you're dreaming or awake. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

You should try and put off trying to induce an LD for a few days, and slowly work your way into getting one. WILDing is a pretty complex thing, and as a newcomer, you should probably start off with just doing reality checks and trying to DILD. After all, why do something hard when something easy may work just as well, given a bit of time? |
|
Stress, or overworking things could be a cause. just relax ease off for maybe a day, but do a few reality checks like said above ^ if that doesn't work give some dream aids a shot. Like eating a Banana (because it helps dream recall i believe in some shape or form). |

Thanks for the replies, I will try and step back from trying to WILD (although I have reached transition a few times but was put off by vibrations) and work more on my reality checks. I really think the problem may be that I am too excited about lucid dreaming, the first time I reached sleep paralysis I got really excited and woke myself up. Anyway thanks again =) |
