I started reading about LD in response to my past experiences. 1) My wife having "stressful dreams and 2) My terrible sleep(ish) phenomena I had as a kid. I used to wake up in my bed when I was very young, paralyzed yet fully awake. Every inch of my body felt as if it were being encapsulated by sharp cubic shapes and I would hear a terrifyingly loud groaning/roaring noise. It's been twenty years since I had that experience, but I remember it as if it just happened. Of course that was bad SP. I'm starting all this now because I believe that intentionally participating in them while keeping a healthy and positive mindset is key to getting over it. So, good luck to us! I'll post my results as time goes on. I'd be interested to know when you overcome your fears too.
