Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I'm curious about a few things.
I have been able to recall 3-5 dreams a night ever since I knew about LDing (learned 5 days ago) and I've been doing religious RCs daily. But I can't bring them into my dream and become lucid. It just doesn't happen, it never occurs to me to do it in the dream...Also, I've been attempting WILDs, using WBTB technique but not staying up too long (maybe 3 mins, drink apple juice, eat peanut butter, pee) and I can't fall back asleep! I relax myself from my toes up, I sink into my bed/pillow, recite my mantras, but I can't fall asleep/get into SP to transition into a LD. It's so frustrating! So I have to quit and just fall asleep normally...I've also read/heard to look at the back of your eyelids or into the darkness of when you're sleeping or whatever. But I do that, and it helps with the process but that fades within 5 seconds, I just start seeing out of my minds eye again and I have to keep manually transitioning from my mind's eye to my eyelids, and I can't keep focus.
Please help in any way shape or form, thank you!
EDIT: I just completed a nap where I tried to wild. Initially it took me a while to even feel tired, then my body became numb and I was in that state for awhile. But what occurred abut 3 times was: I felt my heart rate go up, and my body tingled drastically. I slipped out of this every time it happened, I think it was SP, but I'm not sure I was only experiencing that for about 4 seconds.
