      Confusion

for some reason I feel like I have lucid dreams every night, but the thing is I can't remember my dreams to well. It would suck to find out i have been having lucid dreams this entire time without knowing.

start a dream journal and i guarantee you that you will start remembering your dreams, i went from a few remembered dreams a week to remembering three a night. and now im back to one a night because i stopped writing them down.

"Knowing" you had a lucid dream but you can't remember it isn't uncommon for people with lesser recall. Keep a dream journal; stay in bed for a few minutes after waking up to try remembering what you dreamt about, then get up and write it down immediately. If you wake up in the middle of the night, make sure there's a sheet of paper and pen at your bedside, so you can just reach over and write everything down without actually having to get up.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Thanks for the hints, I recently started keeping a dream journal next to me when I sleep. I've only gone one night with the dream journal but I remembered and wrote down alot as soon as I woke up the second time last night, because yes I do wake up naturally in the middle of the night. However at that time I usually don't think that theres anything worth writing at that time and should wait until my second awakening because that's when all the good stuff happens.
