Yeah you're close. Tell yourself everytime you end up in that state: "Nothing's real, just relax". Repeat that over and over and remember to stay conscious. You don't want to mistake a success for a FA like alot of people do. |

okay i can get to the hypnogogia state when my eyes are closed and i see patterns of colours and sometimes flashing of images... |

thankyou im glad im getting somewhere!! XD and when i see the colours what do i do i cant help but move my eyes around under my eyelids like im following the patterns, so i jus forget about what im seeing and repeat "Nothing's real, just relax"?? and then i should feel a heavy feeling on my body which is SP? And from there i can induce a lucid dream? XD |
|
SP can present itself in many ways and is different for most people, but just ignore it and keep going yes You'll end up in a dream soon after that or fall asleep. Pratice makes perfect! Also if you want to induce a dream, when you start seeing hypnagogic images, try to visualize something. Perhaps a table infront of you. When the table appears, touch it, feel just like it would feel and forget about your sleeping body, you want to focus on your Dream Body now. Good luck! |

Yeah, don't worry! WILD'ing is to fall asleep, but remaining conscious. Just try it out a few more times and I'm sure you will get it right. |

yay thankyou you have also reassured me that its not very hard like its a thing that just needs practice and dedication and could i just ask one more thing cuz i had a dream before, not too long ago, and there was a guy in a spaceship and some scientist put a pink helmet on him and said your good to go! and sent him out of the spaceship.. it was like a scene in a movie.. and then it changed to me in my back garden looking in the sky with my family and i saw who was meant to be the guy who was in space but he looked like a star moving then i ran in my bedroom to see him moving over the house and thats when i think i got lucid cuz i thought to myself ''Remeber when Richard died''? (A close person to the family who died) and then in my dream my mom came rushing up and said ''Richards dead!'' And i forget the rest i woke up with tears like i had been crying :s So if you could just tell me if i went lucid for a second? i'll leave you alone then haha thanks for helping |

You can ask as many questions as you want! It's individual really, but it's getting to the hypnagogia that is hard, or staying conscious. Try it during a WBTB aswell, not when you go to bed. |

oh okay thanks and nope i must have misunderstood about LD lmao i thought it counted if you could think in a dream but now i think about it it's pretty stupid cuz i think in all of my dreams |
|
Haha it is that simple You should time your WBTB attempts rather than having a set time. 4½ hours after falling asleep or 6 hours are two great times. You're most likely in REM when your alarm goes off by then, and you can then WILD from there. Now go and achieve lucidity, and good luck! |
