Failure to even remember dreams :O

for the past couple nights...i cant even remember any dreams i may or may not have had...for instance tonight i feel like I had a crazy awesome dream...i woke up and could not even remember it. Although very vague images kept popping up in my head that could relate to the indescribable dream. What should I do!!! :O

      Hey Adeelo,

Just write down any details you can remember. Colors, faces, ANYTHING. If you can't remember anything just write down how you feel after you wake up or what you think might have happened.
Before you go to sleep tell yourself that it is VERY important to you to remember your dreams, and keep writing them down!
After you wake up stay completely still and just focus on remembering your dreams.
Eventually, your recall will begin to get better everyday! Good luck!

No joke...Writing down your failure is godly compare to doing nothing. The smallest details is better then writing "I dream but forgot" on your DJ.

The idea is simply, the more you think about remembering your dreams (making it goal, recalling that you haven't dream in a week, etc) the more your brain will be willing to do so for you.

yeah i guess I never really thought about writing down a failure as well as a successful dream. It makes total sense to do so now that you guys have mentioned it, its another step I must go through in order to achieve lucidity I suppose. After tonights sleep i will write down whatever my thoughts are fersher to get my DJ going. Thanks guys

If I'm having bad dream recall, I think of any keywords I can possibly come up with (school, friends, family, television series/films I like, things that happened the day before,...) usually if I think of a word that's related to any dreams I had, the entire dream comes back to me.

The most important thing to do when you wake up is to first lie very still. Then try to think about what has recently happened. Usually if I think about what has happened last night I get the feeling that something else happened between then and now. Try to think what that is.
      Works for me Good luck.

Trust me...Writing down your failure is not an excuse for gaining post counts (or DJ entries with the new system) You should see my first DJ on here when we had the threads...The first three pages had "I can't remember" on them simply because I was using my own advice. After a while you will start seeing improvement. Of course blank posts/entries is something you could avoid by writing goals and just stuff like the next time you are planning a WILD or the reason why you won't try it. A failure is not really a failure like causing a bomb to blow up in your face. It more like you wasn't thinking about the subject enough for your subconscious to pick up on it so you are using the failure itself as an excuse to think about it more. When life give you lemons...Many users post their failures so you won't be the first...It is quite common.
