The physiological explanation is spontaneous middle ear muscle activity. Your middle ear (tympani muscles) spazzes out when you start to enter REM, similarly to how your eyes go crazy (Rapid Ear Movement Sleep?). This is what causes the buzzing sound and vibrations in your head. Your ear drums are literally vibrating themselves.
I've yet to hear any vibrating(except on dmt), what I experience is like a super strong compressing wave that cycles every 2-6 seconds I can make the wave last longer or shorter, it is intense but I just gotta boss up and get thru it. I've to yet pass that state, maybe tomorrow will be the day . Have any of you guys had an OBE after the vibrational state settles down?

Thanks for the welcoming!
Yeah I guess this morning it just caught me off guard lol I hope up didn't move a hair and it started to happen. The first time I encountered it was while meditating, this was like 2 months ago I was having fun with them for 40 minutes till I thought "I am I having a seizure!?" then I got up and went inside and they stopped lol
