      sleep paralysis

Every night I'll have been laying down long enough and not moving to notice that my legs feel like I cant moove them. Eventually it moves up to my arms. however I can still move them. Then when I try to fall asleep I can't because I'm so aware so I just move my arms and legs a little and let my mind wander, and unoticably fall asleep. My question is what do I do when I get to that feeling in my limbs, and if I should just keep
laying and waiting to fall asleep and just keep trying to focus on something else.

P.S.something I've just now realized though is that If you let your mind wander a
thought eventually becomes a dream, last night I was halfway into a dream when a
small cracking sound in a room got me aware that I was still in my bed. Because it was
a sound that only comes out of my room from the creaky thing the t.v. sits on. just
      thought I'd share that.

This also happens to me also, well out of the 3 nights I've tried LDing its happened twice.

If anyone can explain more about this, that would be great.

This actually happens to me quite often.

In order to get out of sleep paralysis and wake your body up, I find it helpful to first attempt to move the smaller muscles, and then go on to the slightly bigger ones, so on and so fourth. For example: I will start wiggling my toes and/or fingers, then my feet, then my knees and arms/legs. If you want to slip back into a dream, just close your eyes if your eyes are open, and fall back to sleep. Also, remember that sleep paralysis can actually be a helpful tool in becoming lucid as well!

Lucid goals: Fight and kill Jacob Black [X], Go trick or treating as a wolf [ ], Help a pack stalk and hunt a large extinct game animal [ ], Play fetch with a DC [ ], Become a shape-shifting spy deployed behind enemy lines [ ], Face and fight off a nightmare as a wolf [X], After transformation look in mirror and really observe every detail about my body [ ]

It's what prevents you from moving around as you dream. People who sleepwalk have gone to sleep but not into sleep paralysis.
