New here :) +question about vibrational state

I just registered, been on the forums a little bit before searching n stuff but figured I'd register to become a part of the community

Um, I think it was yesterday I was performing the WILD technique. I became conscious of the last beep my timer gave off and I didn't move a thing, not sure how long it took but I believe I had the vibrations come in pretty quick. They were very intense, a hair bit scary, full body, it'd come in waves, like compressing wave that would surge throughout my body. I decided to stop encouraging the waves because I thought my kundalini was rising and going crazzzy lol. Not sure what happened here, then eventually I got up otta bed and told my Dad in the other room everything that just happened, then a few minutes later I woke up again lol so I just had my first false awakening that I had remembered .
Now my question is was I in the vibrational state? Because I've encountered the same exact 'waves of compressing energy' about two weeks ago while chillaxing in my garage meditating/highly medicated/reading my aquarian gospel of jesus the christ book . I'd say they were about the same intensiveness, in my garage I had them going on for +/- 40 minutes then stopped because the thought popped in my head 'what if I'm having a seizure" lol was verry intense. Wondering if anyone can share their vibrational state experiences with me, if they were as intense as mine.

Yes. That state is best described as the most intense thing you have ever felt.
Its pretty crazy and kinda scary. I once felt like I was rolling over onto my side
then to my stomach. When the vibrations stopped I realized I was still lying on
my back and sat straight up, having never moved.

      Welcome to DV

and those vibrations are very typical, they seems scary at first but they are completely normal and just part of the process.
I'm not sure about your second question on vibrations, but when trying WILD try not to freak out or strain yourself and realize that you are completely safe
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

A few nights ago I was dreaming ~~ Rode a scooter through some dudes garden and had a red neck chasing me, I turned around and yelled 'I DIDN'T RUN OVER S&!T' (LOL) I then was scootering away cut thru the front yard and was on a dirt road going up hill. I thought to myself 'What if I run out of gas. No don't think that I'm dreaming, it'll happen!' Sure enough my scooter ran out of gas and I got scared of that guy catching up to me and woke up.
My question was, if I knew I was dreaming why wouldn't I become fully conscious? I think my brain was still asleep because I hadn't been awake for 8hours, thats why I didn't have any lucidity to it. I think it was just like my subconscious running thru the dream

Well I just had the vibrations again but I was timid with them, I didn't encourage them. Does anyone have any tips on how to make them not seem as scary/off the wall?

I think I just gotta balls up, boss through these vibrations then OBE or vivid dream

      ]Welcome!

With time you'll find it more comforting, as in your brain goes "This is the state I'm looking for!" and you turn from fear to excitement. Best wishes.

Those vibrations are very common during WILD. Like you've already figured out, it is the stereotypical kundalini awakening that many people seek through meditation. The early days of research into out of body experiences were also hung up on these vibrations. If you read any Monroe, Bruce, ect, you will see they do all sorts of ridiculous things to encourage this "energy." Think of it however you want. It is a very cool feeling.

The physiological explanation is spontaneous middle ear muscle activity. Your middle ear (tympani muscles) spazzes out when you start to enter REM, similarly to how your eyes go crazy (Rapid Ear Movement Sleep?). This is what causes the buzzing sound and vibrations in your head. Your ear drums are literally vibrating themselves.

I've yet to hear any vibrating(except on dmt), what I experience is like a super strong compressing wave that cycles every 2-6 seconds I can make the wave last longer or shorter, it is intense but I just gotta boss up and get thru it. I've to yet pass that state, maybe tomorrow will be the day . Have any of you guys had an OBE after the vibrational state settles down?

Yeah I guess this morning it just caught me off guard lol I hope up didn't move a hair and it started to happen. The first time I encountered it was while meditating, this was like 2 months ago I was having fun with them for 40 minutes till I thought "I am I having a seizure!?" then I got up and went inside and they stopped lol

I, being somewhat of an apathetic, was never really afraid of the vibrations. I had
a Whoa! for the first few seconds then I got to the "this is the state I'm looking for"
I tend to enjoy the weird things like this. I actually WANT to experience sleep paralysis.
But anyway, I hope you have some luck getting over the fear. Once you do that, its
      all enjoyable .

I don't hold a fear of the vibrational state, its just when I'm in it that its so intense its on the verge of getting scary and becomes hard to encourage. Now am I suppose to encourage them or try to settle them down? I know I can do either. I did a meditation earlier today to prepare me for tomorrow morning, wish me luck!. I recommend choline bitartrate, I remember atleast 3-5 dreams every morning

Very cool. Get back to me with your results I'd be glad if it helped in your lucidity.

Shadow your DILD lucid dreams are from your reality checks correct? Are you in habit of doing them on a sub conscious level?

Mostly, yes. I've gotten kind of lazy with them during the day but I still have them
      subconsciously every now and then.

Citations? I'd like to read more about this, as I've been trying to figure out the physiological mechanism behind the vibrational stage for awhile.

Hello sir!! And welcome to dv! The greatest place in the world when you want to learn n about dv or banter senselessly.

Sp can be incredibly intense! But just stick with them and you will be in a. Lucid dream in no time! Also remember to reality check!

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
