I think this was a lucid but I don't remember?

      Hey.

So last night I had this weird experience.

I remember chilling around the house at night during my dream, and next thing I know it was day and I was with my friends walking down the street. One asked what I'd been up to that day and I realized I didn't know and that I was dreaming. So, I thought I was dreaming, and then I'm not sure if I woke up or not, but I kind of remember feeling like I was lying down in bed, trying to get back into the dream, and then I remember being in it again and drifting off again. All I remember was desperately trying to do a reality check, but I don't remember the outcome. All I remember is suddenly going "Hold on, I don't know what the hell I've been doing". Lol.

Does that count as a lucid? And it's a step, right?

Yes. And this is why. You dont have to fly, or do something incredible for it to be a lucid dream. You only have to be aware of the fact that you were dreaming.

      So congrats =].
Good luck with future lucid adventures.

Simply because you can breathe, doesn't mean your alive, or that you really live....

If you knew you were in a dream for even a second, you were lucid.

      Congratulations

It was a short one, but definitely an LD. Keep practicing and you'll be able to have longer LDs and gain better control. Good luck!
