In real life that is? Perhaps you should try another RC technique. I find that the nose plug RC is ineffective as it makes you focus on your breathing, and your body in bed.

      I've never tried it..

If you think it's going to happen, then it is going to. It's like pushing your hand through your palm, if you think you're going to feel the whole hand, then you're probably going to feel it.

Edit: Oh, it's in real life? Then I agree with Matte.

This never happens to me.... When you plug your nose are you breathing IN or are you breathing out? If its out then i can understand that sometimes you may get air pumping out of your eyes but it should not happen with breathing in (and thats what i do whenever i nose plug RC)

      Hope that helped.

Simply because you can breathe, doesn't mean your alive, or that you really live....

That doesn't happen to me, well to be honest nose plug makes me really unstable in a dream anyway, so try:
Looking at your hands, do they look normal.
Try putting your finger through your palm.

I've read somewhere that our tear ducts are connected to our airways, so if some people blow out really hard with their nose/mouth closed, air may come out through the inner corners of their eyes. It's not too common, but I've heard of it happening. Be sure you're breathing in, though, and not out!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yeah, you're supposed to be trying to breathe IN

There are several other RC's you could do. You could also close your mouth and try breathing through your mouth instead of nose
