In real life that is? Perhaps you should try another RC technique. I find that the nose plug RC is ineffective as it makes you focus on your breathing, and your body in bed. |

This never happens to me.... When you plug your nose are you breathing IN or are you breathing out? If its out then i can understand that sometimes you may get air pumping out of your eyes but it should not happen with breathing in (and thats what i do whenever i nose plug RC) |

That doesn't happen to me, well to be honest nose plug makes me really unstable in a dream anyway, so try: |

Hmm.. For me Breathing through nose Is the best RC and most helped.. The hand examine, and finger through palm never helped.. |

I've read somewhere that our tear ducts are connected to our airways, so if some people blow out really hard with their nose/mouth closed, air may come out through the inner corners of their eyes. It's not too common, but I've heard of it happening. Be sure you're breathing in, though, and not out! |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yeah, you're supposed to be trying to breathe IN |
|
There are several other RC's you could do. You could also close your mouth and try breathing through your mouth instead of nose |
