Hello, my username is iDreamOfThings, but for those who read this frequent this thread and have good memory, just call me josh. I, just this morning, wanted to search up on lucid dreaming. Oddly enough though, I cannot remember why I searched or how I even knew what the term lucid dreaming was.

Anywho, I am here now, and am very interested in lucid dreaming. I've read a bit about the MILD and WILD techniques and feel that they seem simple enough to practice, but I was wanting to share an extremely vivid dream that I remember from last year.

It started out with me, a wolf walking on two legs, and a red headed girl in a track suit on a sidewalk with dark street lamps, the kind you'd normally find in neighborhoods, and it was in the middle of the night. I could see each individual grass blade and what not. Oddly enough, the wolf was holding a fishbowl with water in it. Anyways, we started toward this wire fence that was in front of a red brick house. The fence was unhooked from one corner of the fence post so it was hanging.

We then proceeded to climb over the fence, and then as soon as we were over, I became aware that it was a dream. Once I was aware I instantly woke up, devastated that I was having such a vivid dream only to be ejected upon awareness, but this was before I knew lucid dreaming even existed. So I had no clue what that was.

I've also had past experiences when I was young, like age 8-11. I had vivid dreams about going to the store. Then a dream character would come up to me and talk to me. At that point I would become aware and attempt to speak, but to my avail I woke up. So, oddly, every time I attain awareness in a dream I always just seem to get ejected back out into the waking world.

So, type what you think of what I've had gone through and I hope you all recieve me well into your community!
