      Half Lucid?

Well, last night I was dreaming and in a part of the dream I remember doing the nose plug RC and thinking, "This is so cool! I'm dreaming and can do whatever!" So I think I was lucid, but I do not remember feeling the normal awareness like I normally do in LD's. Anyone else experienced this?

If you know you were dreaming, you were lucid. It's possible to not be fully aware, but you are still lucid. Depends on how tired you are.

Yeah, this is very common. You can definitely be lucid and not have any control or only be partially aware that you are dreaming.

Well you were lucid like ninja said because you were aware of the fact that you were dreaming. But you had low awareness which can happen, especially if it was your first lucid dream. Now I'm not sure if many other people experience what you described, but you aren't alone I get this a lot and it can be quite frustrating. If you want this to stop you can re affirm that you are in a dream and not real life when you get lucid. You can do this by shouting, " this is a dream!", something like that that involves re assuring yourself. You can also stabilize the dream, check out the tutorial on dream stabilization here

      Hope this helps. Good luck!

      Grats on your first lucid!

One thing i could recommend to help you click your logic sense all the way on would be to Really Really question your reality when you do a reality check.
If you raise your awareness of all your senses before you do so it will likely help alot too

I've had many LDs like that, it's definitely not uncommon.

I wouldn't say it depends entirely on tiredness though, since that could be considered more of a physical state than mental (and how mentally conscious you are will determine how lucid you are).

Sometimes lower awareness (or "semi-lucidity") will present itself as a sort of carelessness or lethargy, even though you're conscious in the dream. Working on your awareness more in waking life will definitely help boost your lucidity in the dream, by helping you achieve higher overall consciousness.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Hi there my friend,

You definitely had a Lucid Dream my friend. But I think it's the dream's quality that gave you that kind of unusual awareness. It would help if you read this Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial. You should also try reading this Level of Lucidity article to have more knowledge about semi-lucidity. Hope this helps my friend
