Hi there my friend, you've just experienced a Sleep Paralysis(also known as SP). During an SP, your body will be paralyzed and not be able move. But don't worry, it's a natural function of our body that activates when we sleep. Its main purpose is to restrict the movement of our body during sleep so that we won't get ourselves to trouble. SP is often accompanied by Hypnagogic Hallucinations(HH). Hypnagogic Hallucination includes strong vibration of the body, sharp buzzing sound or even creepy hallucinations, but of course, it varies from person to person.

SP is often considered the transitional phase. It's the phase were you are about to enter a Lucid Dream. That's right, you were one step away from having an LD. There are two ways of entering a dream from that point. The first one, if you're imaginative enough, you will have to imagine the dream setting and engage yourself into it. The second one, you'll have to wait for this sharp buzzing sounds and vibrations to stop, then, you'll be able slowly get up from your bed. If you chose the 2nd one, your lucid dream will often start off from your room or the place you're sleeping in. So don't be turned off when you get up and you're inside your room cause there's might be a chance that the room itself is a dream. So do an RC.

Just continue to practice and be patient. If you do still have some questions, feel free to reply back. Hope this helps
