Lucid Dream Lover: Completely By Accident

Hello all! My name is Rachael and I have been a lucid dreamer for quite some time. At first, I didn't even know I was doing this until my boyfriend and I talked about it and astral projecting. Since I've become aware of this, I am able to do it more often. Just last night I had a shocking dream that really confused me. Do you all have experience in interpreting such dreams? I felt like I was consciously watching my dream, but I had very little control of it, except that I was able to repeat some parts to myself and commit them to memory before moving forward.

Anyway, I hope that all of you will enjoy me as much as I think I will you! I am excited to share and ready to learn!

Welcome to the forums! There is a section in the forum labelled "Dream Interpretation" for just that purpose as well as a general dream discussion (non-lucid). There are a few people here who understand dreams well and can interpret them but unfortunately I'm not one of them. Apart from that it sounds great that you've already become lucid and in order to have more I would highly suggest keeping a dream journal. This helps you increase your dream recall and will help stop you from forgetting any lucids you may have.

I also advise you to read up on some of the induction techniques for lucid dreams and find which one works the best for you since everyone seems to have a different induction method that works for them. These include DILD (dream induced lucid dream-recognizing something strange in a dream and then becoming lucid from that), WILD (Wake induced lucid dream-going directly from a waking state to a dream), and many others. Just be sure to give each technique a thorough try, don't just try it for a couple nights then say it doesn't work. Learning new techniques can take anywhere from a week to a couple months so you have to persevere.

Other than that just remember to stay positive. A negative mindset is one of the worst things in lucid dreaming and you want to avoid that as much as possible. Good luck and happy dreaming
