Thread: Hey what's goin on? :)

Hey everyone, my names Rhys and i'm new to this site.

I'm pretty much an average guy i guess, but when it comes to dreaming I've always been somewhat of an interesting guy, I believe i have Sleep Paralysis Disorder (Not diagnosed) But i'm very good at snapping out of it when it happens, most of the time my Sleep Paralysis occurs i see someone standing there right in-front of me, it makes my heart beat so hard it hurts and i snap out of it fully awake within a few seconds, as soon as i do snap out of it i just roll on my other side and go back to sleep otherwise i find it will continue until i decide to roll on my other side (Which might be a good tip for some of you that have it re-occurring) probably the Sleep Paralysis dream that i had the most fun with (But also scared the crap out of me) was when my bed started burning on fire and i was being sucked into my bed into some sort of Abyss of fire which kind of looked like i was being sucked into hell, scary at the time, but i snapped out of it saying "That was just epic ".

I'm also a Lucid Dreamer, though it has not happened in a very long time, i have no clue how to tap into lucid dreaming it just happens randomly, my experience with lucid dreaming is usually always the exact same, If i think about the fact that i know i'm dreaming too hard, i'll wake up, if i think about it more than once, i'll wake up, as-long as i don't think about it more than once and i try my best not to realize that i'm lucid dreaming i can continue my lucid dream whilst knowing in the back of my head that it's Lucid, I always do the same thing when i lucid dream, i start flying... then i start blowing shit up like a dragon ball z character or something, Occasionally i'll wipe out everything around me with my head and start creating objects with my hands, most of my Lucid dreams are me with some kind of super-human abilities, 20% of my Normal Dreams are me with some kind of Super-Human abilities, it's rare for me to go 1 month without a dream with super-powers.

I do not have nightmares, maybe 1 per year, I had many nightmares as a child but not so much anymore, i do however have nightmares every single time i have a sleep paralysis attack, my most recent sleep paralysis attack was a month or 2 ago, i heard my step-mum yelling outside my door and i told her to shut her face up because i was trying to sleep (I'm never that rude in real life ahaha, and i also hate my step-mum xD) then all of the sudden, she shouted "That's IT!" and came into my room with a knife and ran up to me and was about to stab me with it, i snapped out of it at that point and saw her standing right in-front of me with an almost demonic stare about 2 meters away from me (Like those dreams you have when you wake up from a dream, and another dream, and wake up from that dream to be in another dream i think we've all had them) and so i snapped out of it again to find myself fully awake, i rolled on my side and went back to sleep.

My normal dreams are incredibly, incredibly bizarre, recently alot of my dreams have involved being lost on busses, or being on a bus and having to get on alot of multiple different busses, being lost and having no idea where i am but i still manage to have an interesting good time while i'm lost, i'm worried that i'm lost, but at the same time i couldn't care less almost like finding my destination is not the objective of the dream.

Anyway this has gone on long enough, i hope to have a great time on these forums, i don't understand them or what i'm supposed to do on these forums but yeah hopefully this is a pretty awesome forum community and we can get along great, i've got alot more dreams and experiences to share with you all and i hope this can be a great start to a contribution to this website.
