      New LD'er joined

Hello everyone, I'm fascinated about LD especially how it can be that we can create a paranormal world where we are the creator of it.

I like to learn it and to have the experience that's coming by training. But I suppose I've got a little problem. I can't remember mine dreams. How can I remember them back because I suppose that's something to start with before I can have LD's. And when must I set best my alarm to know when I need to write it down.

Either I'm gonna sleep at 12 o'clock PM and sleeps till half past 10 AM.

      Info about me:
      • Sex: Male
      • Age: 18
      • Job: Student
      • How many LD's got already?: 0 :'(
      • Knowledge: Very basic
      • Since?: Since 1/08/'12 I heared about LD's.

      Kind Regards
      Jens

hi there and welcome to DV. the easiest and most effective way to remember your dreams is to start a dream journal. get some paper or a notebook (clipboard binder whatever you can find) and a pencil and leave them close to your bed. make sure that it is open to the correct sheet of paper so you wont have to flip through a bunch of pages to find the right page. this way when you wake up from a dream you can instantly write it down before it starts to fade from memory. there is also a place on the site that you can post your dream journal if youre okay with other people seeing it.

      good luck and happy dreaming

      Hey jensiboyke! Welcome to Dreamviews.

Not being able to remember your dreams is a common problem for a lot of new lucid dreamers. When you first get up don't move and just think about your dreams. Don't think about anything else. Write down any little detail you can remember. A color, picture, events, etc. Also check out the official Dreamviews Dream Recall Tutorial. It should help! You will be remembering your dreams in no time.

As for the alarm...what are you setting it for? WBTB, WILD, or something else?

Good luck! If you have any more questions please ask. I would be happy to help.

Thanks for the posts both and for the help by PM's. I will never give up thats something I'm sure about it. I can't join the class today because it's on 3:00AM at CET and that's difficult to wake up for it. My apoligises for it.

No worries. I may be busy also. Kids like to eat at that time.

We have classes every week at better hours. And no one is obligated to attend.

      Just glad you're here.

I think it is important to remind yourself every night, as you are falling asleep. It is hard to remember things in the morning. Tell yourself as you are going ot sleep, "I will remember all my dreams, and write them in my dream journal." Say it out loud, or even write it down if you need to.
