      Call me Glieuaeiel.

(I wanted to see how many vowels could pronounceably be strung together.)

I'm 20, and I finally decided to make a DV account for motivation in writing in my DJ and because I felt bad about being such a lurker. That said, I'm not too familiar with all the little niches on this website--what are your favorite places to hang out on DV?

I first learned about LDs about three years ago, but my progress has been desultory at best. I've had a couple decent-length dreams, but they were over a year ago. I'm currently working on improving my dream recall, and I'm also trying to get better at ADA.

      Consider yourself introduced!

      Welcome to the forums!

My favorite place on DV is probably the Lounge because.... well, it's the Lounge. I also love the general lucid discussion when there's a lot of people posting but it's a bit dull when not many people are on.

If you're working on improving your dream recall then your DJ is the perfect place to start it. Be sure you're writing down any and all dreams you can remember, even tiny little fragments or even just a specific person or place. Also, if you're having trouble remembering dreams on a day to day basis try lying still when you first wake up and focus only on remembering your dreams you had last night. Think about anything that may have happened and don't move or you'll start to forget it. After 5-10 minutes or however long you feel comfortable doing it for go ahead and write everything down. Keep doing this and your recall should improve greatly.

Glad to have you as a member! I enjoy the beyond dreaming section, because there is no need to stick to 'real' topics. All sorts of fantastic ideas get thrown around and deep conversations take place.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

      Hey Glieuaiel! Welcome to Dreamviews!

My favorite place to hang out on DV is the website's IRC chat. Here is a link to it. Good luck getting more lucids and with your dream recall. If you have any questions, you can always send me a message.
