Hello drawven, and welcome to the dreamviews community.

Let me be the first to say congrats on you first LD. I still remember mine as though it were last night. The feeling of utter excitement and awe at knowing you are in another realm is quite amazing. Studying the advice of others who have come before you is a good way to get a jump on the concept at hand. Lucid Dreaming is unlike any drug or movie or video game in existence, for you are in complete control and are only limited by your own mind. Expand your mind and your consciousness, and there will be nothing keeping you from exploring your deepest fantasies.

As far as expectations go, a good rule of thumb is to go to bed EVERY night expecting to have a Lucid Dream. Your mind has to be conditioned that way if you are to achieve consistent results. Do not ever be discouraged. I Just came off a four month dry spell, and have had three Lucids in the past week alone.

I will help you as much as you want and there are many more great people on this site who are just as willing, and possibly more capable than I, to help you.
