It sounds like you are off to an excellent start. Is it refreshing to be excited about dreaming again, after some time being put off by nightmares? |

Hi I recently started to have nightmares very vivid ones so I started checking out online why. I stumbled upon lucid dreaming and straight away got into it I think Its going to be a great way to control these nightmares. Its bin about 4 days and obv I'm a beginner so I have just started recalling these dreams and writing them down in my journel along with the techniques I'm going to try I think I'm going to go with wbtb. But right now I'm jus recalling my dreams asking my self a lot through the day if I am dreaming and doing my rc I've gone with trying to push my finger through my palm and holding my nose and trying to breath. Tonight when I go to bed I'm going to think of my ld place and repeat in my I will have a lucid I have control over my concouis. I no I can't rush but I hope I'm on the right path and would some advice if anyone can help me reach my first ld thanks |

Hi thatnks for the reply what do u think would be better. Well lats night I did dild and it for the first night I didn't actually have a dream so I feel like I've taken a step backward what do you think |

Hmm I would personally choose WBTB+MILD. It's what I did when I first started, and it turned out to be the best technique that suited me. I have experimented with different techniques now but I always go back to WBTB+MILD every now and then. For me, it is relatively easier and does not require as much mental preparation as WILD, which is what I needed when I first started out. But that's just me though, it can totally differ for everyone. |

Thanks your really helpful its good to talk to someone any1 I no that I try telling this think I'm going mad. Yh I would like to try MILD sounds a bit easier I constantly ask myself during the day am I dreaming does this really help. Can I ask wat it is actually like to lucid dream cuz I'm excited even tho I have to put some work into it and it might take a while. I read one of your dj sound like you have a good. Time when lucid. |

To be honest, some of the lucids are really short, and sometimes with no control at all. But most of the time, especially when I really dedicate myself to the technique and practices, the lucids are really worth all the attempts. |

Sounds amazing and yh that's is what's driving me to carry on I'm gettin a little frustrated at the moment cuz I'm tryin really hard during the day and also before I go to bed. Last night I can recall three dreams that I can remember well I've wrote the down in my dreAm journel as soon as I open my eys I'm just tryin to get my head round how when in a dream you will ask yourself is this a dream. If you no what I mean. |
|
Yeah I know what you mean. I guess just keep up what you're doing. Put importance on your dreams and recall, and try to practice awareness as much as you can. I think that if you learn to be very aware of your surroundings while awake, you will also learn to be aware when you're dreaming, and that will make you get lucid. So do that, and always question your reality too. |

Thanks for giving me thta link it really helped even tho I jus started it last night I was able to recall my dreams better I've bin doin it most of today aswell also some more good progress last night afer waking up to write two of my dreams down as I was falling back to sleep I started to dream again and can remember questioning weather it was a dream or not but a soon as I did the dream fadded and I woke up is this a good sign. |
|
If you were starting to question whether or not you are dreaming, you are getting very close. Did you realize it was a dream? Sometimes the feeling of waking up will make me realize I am dreaming. Frustrating, since it also means the dream is ending. |
|
I no I was still asleep and It was a dream I think that's why I ask my self is it a dream bit then everything went blurry and it kinda just drifted away and I couldn't get back. Then I woke up feelin very disapointed |
