      Talking Uhm, hello?

Hello all, i found this site while doing some research on people who have the same dreams together.

A little about myself: I'm 21, male, and an aspiring artist. I have many stories I'd like to work on when i have the free time (I'm a visual artist). Currently I'm in the Navy, but only to pay for art school, and my art is highly influenced by my dreams, and interests. I would really love to become lucid, and discover all the possibilities in the dream world, and reflect it within my art. I'll do what I can to post on this forum as much as possible.

Thank you in advance for any support/feedback!

      Welcome to the forum!

We have quite a few artists here, and some find the talent influences their dreams and vice versa. Some of their musings are in the Artists Corner section of the forum.

Since you're new to lucid dreaming I'll refer you to a couple of great resources:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

Intro Class (OpheliaBlue, RareCola, CanisLucidus, Chimpertainment, Xanous)

The intro class helps you learn the best techniques to start your efforts and it's fun. Improving recall, influential thoughts, dream journaling, all covered in that Intro class.

Staff members are here to help and answer questions. Anyone with colored stars by their names can help you, either by answering your post on the forum or through private message. The forum members tend to be quite knowledgeable and helpful so feel free to ask anyone their advice.

Welcome to DreamViews, and pleasant dreams!

I'm glad you joined. We need more artists around here. Lucid dreaming is like cheating for art and design. It is a limitless source of inspiration and ideas. Let me know if you ever want to talk about painting or drawing, too. I love that stuff

If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thanks a bunch! I'm really excited about beginning my trek of lucid dreaming! I'm actually planning on going out tonight to buy a journal to write down anything I can remember after I wake up. I actually spent a good amount of time reading every section linked on the home page last night, haha!

I'd love to, but I'm not much of a painter :/ I s'pose we'll run into each other over at the art section of this forum and If you'd like I could give you the link to my deviantART page.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll be full of questions the more I delve into this endeavor!
