First of all if you do this on bedtime, don't expect to start dreaming immediatelly, if this is going to work you basically have to relax and have a calm mind in 1 h and 30+ minutes
In other words be relaxed until the first REM period. So a good idea is to use the WBTB technique combined with your attempts.
I am not a fan of methods and exact instructions of how to learn to lucid dream (when it comes to mastering it), but I am going to make an exception because well I am currious to see if this can help you.
This is what I am going to try myself, mainly for OBEs but well it uses the same kind of general ideas that you use to induce an lucid dream.
I want to know if it an effective method and why it works (if it works) and well you wanted a method so I guess it's a win win situation for both of us, here you go: (Don't mind the scary images ... nothing can hurt you in the dream and well if you have fears you need to deal with that in order to lucid dream anyway so..)
