Hello oneironauts! My name is Wouter

My name is Wouter and joined Dream Views because it's a way larger community than the Lucid Dreaming subreddit and it contains more in-depth guides, stories, etc.

I have discovered about lucid dreaming a couple of months ago but I haven't had any lucid dreams yet. I used to have a dream journal by my bedside but recently I've switched to Dreamboard. When I wake up from a dream, I type a general journal entry in the app and I'll finalize it when I get on my computer.

Of all techniques that I know of to gain lucidity, DILD through ADA got my upmost attention. I've read the tutorial written by KingYoshi and I've just begun following Sivasons step-by-step meditation guide.

I used to have a hard time recalling any dreams but a week ago I bought Vitamine B pills and I take 1 before getting to bed every night and for me it helps.

That's all there is about my concerning lucid dreaming.

Please give me a warm welcome.

      Welcome to DV!

DV is full of nice guides, KingYoshi's guide is very popular so that's a good choice. Sivason knows what he's talking about when it comes to most dreaming-related things. I used to use DILD/ADA with MILD and WBTB's during the weekend to get lucid and it worked great for me.

Keep on working on your recall, I do however suggest you lay off the vitamin B and only take it on occasion. Your body will get used to the dosage and soon you won't feel any effects at all. Take it at most every third day. You need to get your natural recall up so just write down anything you can during the night and when you wake up and you'll get better recall soon.

If you've got any questions, we're here to help

Hey Matte and thank you for your reply!

You said "used to use", so what methods do you use nowadays to achieve lucidity, if you use any?

The pills I'm taking contains B1-6, B8 and B11-12. B6 is 2,8mg and B12 is 5 microgram. Everything is twice the amount a young adult as me should get each day. Just wanted to share that background information with you. I think you're right and I should take these pills at a max of once per 3 days.

The only thing is, I wasn't able to recall more than 1 or 2 dreams per month before starting to take vitamin B. Hopefully I will keep up my dream recall even though I'm lowering the dosage of the pills.

Anyways, thank you for your reply and I'll see you around

I hope this is warm enough. You can use that to control fire in your dreams. If you have questions on how to do it, just PM me!

      I recommend these threads:

That small of a dose shouldn't affect your dreams much, if you want to use B-vitamins as a supplement doses around 50-100 mg (atleast for B6) is what you want to take.

I've kind of slacked off the past year. Still use MILD and DILD when I remember to do it, but I haven't done a proper WBTB in ages.
