Hey everyone I'm sure I will begin to love this site as time passes, on this seems like the best place to start LD'ing, so where is the best place to start here for getting your first LD? I haven't had a LD yet and I really want to succeed, thanks, azoller

Welcome to Dream Views. I personally think this is the best lucid dreaming forum on you'll find. Probably the best place to start is in the Dream Views Academy forum. Also you can PM any of us Dream Guides for help.

ok, best place if you need some basic info on induction techniques would be Beginner's guide.

It's usually recommended to start with DILD technique. But it doesn't hurt to read other major induction technique tutorials, like WILD and DEILD. You never know when you get some sensations associated with those techniques and then you will know what to do.

you should definitly root it..lol, anyways would CAT be a good beginner way to start lucid dreaming?

It's not my favourite technique and from what I heard doesn't have a huge rate of success. I think you would be best to just spend your time in MILD or WILD if your up for it. CAT takes a bit too much restructuring of your sleeping plan for what its worth.

Yeah CAT is a bit challengine, I tried WILD this morning and I couldn't seem to fall back asleep guess I wasent tired enough, but I could feel me being almost drift into a lucid dream, so I think its working I'm just not falling completely asleep, so I might try it later today and see if it works

If you're trying for WILD, make sure you're mentally prepared, read sageous's guide if you haven't already.

remember to stick to one method for atleast a month and a half preferably. Many newbies fail because they are too impatient switching between different technique. Pick a technique and go for it

I started with DILD for a month and a half, but I decided to go full time DEILD for like four months or so, I got really good at it and now I just try DILD, WILD and DEILD because I can.

These past few nights I've been able to remember my dreams pretty well, so they are becoming vivid just not lucid so I need to do some more ADA and I'll think I'll get a luicd dream tonight and I also incorporate mild with dild
