I do a reality check about every 40 minutes, maybe an hour. And like GrannyPigms said, you can try pushing your finger through the palm of your other hand. I do that as well as pinching my nose and seeing if i can breathe. I also look at text and then look away and back at the text to see if it's changed. Also make sure you make your reality checks mean something to you, I think i remember one person saying to think about the atoms of all the objects around you. But i don't think it should matter what you think about as long as it makes you aware and gets you thinking. |
