1st and most strange of all - once I start to enter hipnagogic state my nose become almost instantly unblocked, I can feel the walls of the nose chamber contract and a lot more air flow in and out, the air also feel much more colder. This sensation is very much like when someone that have a clogged nose use a powerful medicine to unclog the nose. And no, it is not on my head, I had some situations that I stood up (I never got lucid) and started my day and the sensation keep for a few more minutes like 3 or 5 minutes.
It sounds like an unsuccessful WILD. And the dream you end up in is one that you are starting your day, and you are non lucid. If I were you, I would look up some tips&tricks to make WILD dreams more successful, and how not to lose consciousness during them. And don't make the mistake of doing WILDs and bedtime. I've had trippy stuff like this happen to me when I tried WILDing at bedtime.
2nd-It is very difficult to do reality check, I always pass through situations in dream that a reality check is in place but I don't realize myself of it. And even more strange is that lately I was able to realize I was somewhat dreaming, I made a reality check, by using a light switch and looking at my hands detailed, but guess what? The switch WORKED and my hands was there full of details, even the lines in my palm. I don't understand.
No reality check is perfect, or guaranteed to work. In fact, I really don't like the idea of either of these RCs myself. I've found them both to be unreliable. Generally the most reliable reality check is your own intuition. (Followed closely by the nose pinch.) You already sort of knew it was a dream, so you're pretty much there already. If you want further evidence that it is a dream, just think back to the chain of events that led to your current situation. If you can't remember how you got here, you're dreaming.
3rd - I never had a lucid dream, or maybe just one and the process happened backwards. I had a dream that I smoked Marijuana, I started to feel dizzy, then I closed my eyes on the dream and started to alucinate, having hipnagogic images on the blackness, then I felt my nose unclog and next thing I was awake, and no it was not a false awakening because I tried to come back for a few minutes and couldn't, then my nose clogged again and I decided to stand up and start the day.
This isn't really a question, or that abnormal of an experience for a lucid dreamer. But what are you talking about by your nose is clogging and unclogging? Are you preforming a reality check?
