      Run for your lives! Run before it's too late!

      Hello, guys! Welcome to Dream Views. Before you post, it's advisable to thoroughly read the Forum Rules and...

      ... No, wait, I'm doing it wrong, am I? ô.ó

      Anyway, I'm Suvid and I started lurking these forums since almost a week ago, although I had the link somewhere in my bookmarks since some Google search I did... last year, I think.

      I learned about lucid dreams when I was... around 15, but I didn't pay any attention to them. I was a lot more interested in things like astral projection and everything occult at that time. Sometimes, in random days since a few years ago, I would be suddenly curious about lucid dreaming and I'd do some research, but I actually didn't try anything and kept forgetting about them xD

      Now, I have been a fan of shapeshifting since I was a child, curious of how would it be, to have a different body, and I was feeling really melancholic lately because I knew it wasn't possible. Until this Tuesday, when I had the epiphany: Lucid dreams! I could try having lucid dreams, and learn to shapeshift there once I gained enough experience.

      I started reading tutorials and practicing RCs the day after Christmass. I also began a dream journal the next morning. It's amazing, how many dream details I'm able to recall in just a few days after I started it! This saturday I even had my first recorded lucid dream! With awarenes! No control, though, but those less-than-five minutes were just incredible.

      And, that's it. That's the story of how I finally decided to register in this forum. Thank you for reading n_n

      In a non lucid I saw a butterfly at the end of my dream, I transformed into one and flew after it
      Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.

      Thanks~

      @cooleymd
      Really? Hehe, that sounds like fun. I even tried to search for it in your dream journal, but I didn't find anything xD

      @ThreeCat
      Thank you! Yes, it seems like I started nicely on this. The dream was kind of a funny story. I kept asking myself "How can that [insert weird thing here] happen?" and a little voice of reason in a corner of my mind answered "Because you are in a dream. This is a dream. You are dreaming", and I was like "Mmhmm. Okay. Yeah, I know it's a dream, wathever. But then why...?" Until the poor little voice snapped an yelled "Because it's a dream, you idiot!!" Then I finally got the hint. Gosh, my dreaming self is(am) such a moron *facepalm*

      It's a shame I got this sudden cough, though. I wake up in the middle of the night, coughing hard, so I immediately forget any dreams. And that's when I finally get some rest X_x

      But I'm still practicing RCs and awareness (whenever I'm not too busy coughing my lungs out). Also, thanks for your advice, I'll make sure to check out those Dream Yoga classes once I get better.

      Yea I never dream journal on here, I just post bits in threads.

      I had an upcoming 2nd appointment at a dental hygiene school: I dreamed I was on the second story of a clinic and saw two girls I looked closely at them, one was blond, one red-head, but I was looking for a brunette I had the last time in real world. Then I noticed I didn't have my shoes on, I remembered that I had left them downstairs in the bathroom, so I went down a narrow stair case with a pillar in the middle to get them, I put them on and tried to go back up, but I couldn't squeeze by (guess I transformed to a bit fatter ) So I went outside I noticed a rope so I tried to pendulum swing up, but as I was swinging back and forth and hopping up the rope at each apex, some fat woman sicked her dog on me, so I pendulumed toward a chain link fence going up the wall and jumped onto it, then climbed up to the roof. Up there was like a theater stage (with a live comedy show going on), with many chairs packed together, and I couldn't get by the people, then I noticed a butterfly flying by and as it flew off the edge, I followed it becoming a butterfly and flying along, so it began to go at like warp speed and as I zoomed after it the world dissolved.

      Yes, lding is perfect for learning to shapeshift. You can try shapeshiftng into different animals/beings or other people. Next time you have an ld, check out your reflection and see if it's your usual self, try different thoughts to see how they change your reflection.

      Have fun and see you around!
