Hey guys. I feel kind of phony posting this since I've never been active at all on this forum ever since I joined, but I've changed a lot over these two past years and I feel the need to make another introduction thread. |

You sound so interesting! |

Hey there AnotherDreamer. Thanks for responding. Yeah, I have some side effects too, but I think it's a minor price to pay for such a wonderful ability as vivid visualization. I do have to be careful with my emotions though, otherwise I start having some pretty morbid hallucinations, especially at night. |

Welcome back! |

Lucid visualization is the only way I know to induce lucid dreaming, dild or wild, doesn't matter... (besides supps ofc) |

I'm talking about the controlled hallucination type of visualization. You can V-WILD using the less vivid minds-eye visualization, but I feel that's it's much quicker and cooler to do it by truly seeing what you're visualizing. |

Exactly this happened to me several times when I succeeded at VWILD. I'm not able to use my hallucination visualization not even with my eye closed, but the mind visualization works the same way for inducing vwild/mild and it's easier to do. |

Well, I mostly do this type of visualization with my eyes closed, but if I concentrated hard enough I could, for example, make a 'fake' apple appear on the table. Although when I do it with my eyes open, all sensory information besides what I'm creating usually fades away. So, if I try to make a clock on the wall, I'll see the clock just fine, but I won't really be able to see the wall anymore. |
|
And what is your step by step practice? How did you developed visualizations from beginner to such a level? |
|
Perhaps we should talk over PMs rather than cluttering up this thread. Anyway, I followed the method detailed in Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon. You can get a free pdf online(not that I condone doing that or anything). The interesting parts which relate to visualization are all in the second part(practical exercises): the "Magic Mental Training" in both steps 2 and 3(concentration exercises). |
