Hey folks!! Can you help a gal out!?

Hello y'all, I'm a 22 year old student from the US, and I'm very new to this site.
I've always had vivid dreams, even at a very young age. The earliest dream I can remember is of me leaving my body and crawling on my ceiling, once I realized I was dreaming I fell back into my body, and ran crying to my parents. I was 5 years old. Since then I've had many dreams where I realized I had been dreaming, but just recently have I learned that I can control my dreams. I'm very curious and eager to learn more about this wonderful gift we all have in common. In the last 4 attempts I've had to become lucid, 2 were successful. I just need more practice with controlling my dream body. Please go check out my DJ's and tell me what you think, any and all opinions and advice are welcome.

Awesome, welcome! I would also check out the task of the month. These can help build dream control, and give you an opportunity to practice.

      Welcome to DV, XXFlybynightXX!

Congrats on your recent lds! Looked at your entries and your dream control is not bad at all. You just have to remember it takes a while for us to get the hang of things and perhaps try only few things at a time for starters.

With more practice you can become aware and learn how your mind works to manifest and subsequently control the elements of your dreams. The more precise and stronger your focus on the things you want to accomplish, the better the result.

A good example of how the mind manifests objects is what happened to you with the wine glass. Your desire was for the glass to vanish, yet since you subcosciously were still thinking about it, it kept reappearing.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
