Astral projection/out of body experience

I have been very curious about astral projection lately. Last night I tried it, I was floating outside of my body over it, I felt weightless. I couldn't open my eyes to look around but I kept feeling my third eye, like a pressure. Once I decided to go back to my body, it felt so unbelievably heavy, and kinda sore for a couple minutes. I could still feel the pressure in my third eye and I felt like my brain waves were still theta, although I was up and moving. It was very peaceful but I was wondering if anyone experienced in obe's could fell me if that meant I was close to fully becoming out of my body? It was a great experience I look forward to actually exploring the astral plane!

It's hard to say. Sometimes when meditating and attempting to have an OBE one can lose body awareness, feel weightless, and perceive being somewhere else. But without having actually seen anything or manipulating movement in the astral body it's not very conclusive. From what I've read and in my own personal experience, OBE's are almost always preceded by the sensations of spinning, vibrating, heart racing, etc. But the pressure is a good sign that something is happening. You're at least on the right track and sound like a natural!

To me it sounds like you were already out of your body. At that point, or anytime you suspect you may be (or even at random times) you can mentally try and move yoursef. Just think "to the window" or "to the door" and your dream/obe body will move that way.

You can also think "stand up" and you should get upright and just walk away, go through the wall or use your actuall door to get outside.

On the first few tries you may just wanna stay in your room and get used to the feeling and see how things look. Have fun : )
