Hi, I just joined today. I have always had an interest in dreams. I started reading Robert Monroe when I was about 15 (Journeys Out of the Body). Much of his experiences were confusing to me, but I did take along some of the OOB techniques. Over the years I have read many books, including Dream Yoga: Consciousness, Astral Projection, and the Transformation of the Dream (Samuel Aun Weor) and many other books/lectures by him; and the Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep (Rinpoche). What I have found is that this is a highly dedicated, self-disciplined practice. Life and everything else in the waking world has prevented me from dedicating too much of my time to this, even though I know better.

For the last couple of months I have been practicing yoga, and its become very apparent that I need to learn more about my lucid dreaming and astral projection so that I can get closer to awakening.
I've been reading many of the posts by mods and veterans. I applaud you all for being able to stick to the self study for so long. I truly hope I can reach that level of dedication.
