I have only in the past 8 days found out what lucid dreaming is. I watched some videos on Lucidipedia's youtube channel and bought a spectacular book: Are You Dreaming by Daniel Love. I read the whole thing in just 3 days, and will probably read it again soon. I just receieved in the mail today, a comfortable moulded sleep mask that lets no light in, as I have also been having trouble returning to sleep after the sun comes up. I am taking 50mg of B6 before bed, and am taking high doses of NAC every few days(I know NAC may not do anything for dreams but I am giving it a shot).

The last 4 nights have been waking up without trying, just before my second or third REM cycle begins 3-5am. Upon returning to bed after using the restroom and drinking some water, I(without trying) have regularly been experiencing WILD-type sensations(flashes of light, rotating colors, vibrations all over my arms and face, sinking feeling in my stomach like I am falling/dizziness).

The first couple times I experienced this I stopped myself at a certain point because I wasn't completely ready for it(after which I felt a euphoric afterglow with more vibrant visuals). This morning I felt more ready for it and decided to commit to it. Today I did not see flashes or feel electric vibrations; I only felt(for the first time) first dizziness upon seeing moving colors, then a STRONG feeling of falling in my stomach. Today and every other time prior, I have not been able to successfully enter into a WILD; I end up staying awake for a while.

Now oddly enough, this morning was also my first successful DILD! It only lasted 0 seconds because I woke up upon succeeding in a digital watch-reality check. But, hey it's a clear victory! I am so excited for my journey ahead. I have clear goals in mind for what I want to accomplish, and I can't wait to share my successes with you all.
