Hi, I'm a 21 year old nursing student. I used to lucid dream a lot roughly between the ages of 11-15, but I've fallen out of practice. I've been writing in my dream journal on here for about a month and have had a few spontaneous lucid dreams mostly from that effort; I'm not very consistent with RC's. I've been trying to focus on getting lots of sleep and dream recall. I decided that it might help if I stopped lurking and started posting!
So lately I have been having tons of nightmares and anxiety dreams. I guess it might have to do with the end of the semester and deadlines converging. Do you notice that your waking life stress bleeds over into your dreams in unexpected ways? I don't have dreams about failing class or anything, but I have a lot about being attacked.
All I've ever really done is WBTB and DILD, never had success with WILD. Are there any cool new promising techniques out there now that you guys have had luck with?
