Hi, I'm a 21 year old nursing student. I used to lucid dream a lot roughly between the ages of 11-15, but I've fallen out of practice. I've been writing in my dream journal on here for about a month and have had a few spontaneous lucid dreams mostly from that effort; I'm not very consistent with RC's. I've been trying to focus on getting lots of sleep and dream recall. I decided that it might help if I stopped lurking and started posting! |

Welcome to the forum! You can also try FILD (finger induced lucid dream). All you have to do is wake up in the middle of the night (don't stay up for long) and move a couple of fingers ever so slightly. You don't get SP and it works in a matter of minutes or even seconds. I tried it and I think it worked, I just had an FA and didn't try an RC so I didn't become lucid. |

I don't recommend FILD for a beginner |

1. You don't have to go through sleep paralysis (although it can't harm you, it can be scary) |

Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
Thank you Mismagius, I will look into SAT, it sounds perfect! I'll try for the Task of the Month too. |

"Going through life worrying about the little things is like cooking with motor oil instead of cooking oil. Sure, you can still probably pull it off, but it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth in retrospect." - Me, apparently
