When we sleep, we usually dream in the last part of a sleep cycle. So dreaming normally occurs when you are in a relatively light sleep. It is likely that you are not getting enough quality sleep--that you are going into a light sleep, and not getting enoguh deep sleep. Dreams would only be a side-effect of this.
This is probably something you will need to bring up with your doctor, who might be able to determine if you are really having any problems sleeping. They may tell you to try an over the counter sleep aide or something like that.
