Some techniques don't work for some people, y'know?? I can't FILD ot TURD. |

It takes time, just keep trying and it may work for you. After about a week or so with no success, you can try another technique. |
|
MILD takes a while to get used to. Keep at it and i promise you that it will wokr after it has set in internally. alternatively try another technique. |

If you generally find it easy to relax emotionally and mentally then your entrainement should have a linear ramp down from 15 Hz to 6.5 Hz over a time of about 10 minutes. You should then listen to the 6.5 Hz tone for 5 minutes before using your mantra. Your mantra should be believable to you. If you don't believe your mantra you will be reinforcing the opposite of your mantra. Use isochronic tones instead of binaural. Get a copy of neuro programmer 3 as you have a 14 day trial. |

For a while, untill school and a few other things made me tone down my lucid dreaming for a while, I was getting pretty consistent results. If you haven't read the passage on MILD from EWOLD I highly reccomend it - after all, it was written by the man who created the technique. One important thing LaBerge mentions is the most important factor was telling himself to remember to recognie he was dreaming. Also, nowhere in the passage does he specifically reference the use of a directive as a mantra. MILD isn't really about saying anything, it's about feeling it. Consider this, when in waking life you want to remember to do something at a later point, do you recite to yourself over and over "I will do X" for 10 minutes? I always had the best results with MILD when I set my intention before bed to remember to recognize that I was dreaming, then kept that in mind as I fell asleep. It's about putting yourself in the mindset that you will remember to recognize that you're dreaming, and to me it seems that overly verbalizing the idea tends to rob the emotional side of it. In other words, it's not enough to tell yourself to remember, you have to feel that you will remember. |
