Which technique should I try first?

I wanted to try and do a WILD, but I also wanted to try a DILD. And also, how long does it take to really master these? Which one will let me have LDs faster?

      Sorry 'bout that. Haha.

Also, tell me what you think of my Lucid Dreaming schedule..

      Monday night: DILD or WBTB.
      Tuesday night: DILD or WBTB.
      Wednesday night: DILD or WBTB.
      Thursday night: DILD or WBTB.
      Friday night: DILD or WBTB.
      Saturday night: FILD.
      Sunday night: WILD.
      DILD - 0
      WBTB - 0
      - - - - - - - - -
      Goals:
      [ ] Fly. [ ] Use my magical powers. [ ] Grow smaller. [ ] Sled down Mt. Everest.
      [ ] Grow wings. [ ] See inspiring things. [ ] Play with fire.

      Post So...

Hey and welcome to Dream Views...
Anyway,I would suggest you start with DILD or MILD...
The question of how long it will take you is unexplainable...
You will soon realize that everyone is different...
Some people wait for a few months for their first Lucid Dream...
There are some naturals who do it in 2-3 days...
It took me around 8 to get to my first Lucid Dream...
      The fastest is probably DILD...

Oh,I'd suggest you focus on one technique ( eg. DILD )...
After you've had a few LDs,you can move on to other techniques if you wish...
Figure out which one works best for you...^^

      Hope that helped...
If you have any questions, feel free to ask or PM me..
      Sam
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..

Judging by your shedule you are very motivated!

However, in my opinion you're trying to much at the same time!

I'd say stick to 1 or 2 techniques and work at them for a little!
WBTB + MILD is a very good place to start imo!
And of course do plenty of reality checks, and make sure you do em right!

You should find all you need to get started in the tutorial section!

Looks good. I would also recommend the basic method, DILD, first, and then work your way up to other methods. I wouldn't recommend WILD just now. It's better if you stick to FILD and WBTB + WILD. Once you have frequent LDs, feel free to explore other methods, and find the one that works best for you.
By the way, welcome to the forum!!! and good luck!!

The crimson blood shimmers on the snow,
The shattered heart weeps of hidden sorrow.
And over a pure white sky,
      rises a black moon.'

I would throw a MILD in if you don't get there with DILD. It's the technique that I usually use to purposely lucid dream. WILD is hard though, so don't get frustrated.

I'd like to wholeheartedly second this. MILDS can become extremely reliable with some practice, and WILDS are very hard to learn. (I've had 20 LDs ((2 not in my ld count... should probably change that)) and none of them were a wild, and only one a DEILD.)
And now.. for a Stephen Strutmeyer Film...
