My experience so far

Hello Everybody,

A little about me: I would say I usually remember fewer dreams than most people, but have had maybe ~10 lucid dreams without purposely trying to achieve them. I've known about the spinning technique for a few years so that has helped to prolong my LD's, but one of my main troubles has been controlling the dream.

For example, when I try to fly in my dreams I will not always be able to do so efficiently. Sometimes I'll levitate up and down without really gaining much speed, or when I can, I have trouble controlling my direction entirely. I've had very little success creating things out of nothing unless I'm shooting fireballs or something

I'm off to do a few searches, but if anyone could point me in the right direction or has a few pointers, that would be great! I've also just ordered some galantamine/choline, so hopefully along with the info here, I'll be LD more frequently in no time.

Do you write your dreams down? If not, you should start doing that. It'll help you remember more of your dreams and should help you make more progress with LDing in general.

Check the tutorials that FreeMudd posted and just read around on this site. You're bound to find useful info all over the place.

That might actually work. I think I was imagining a force pushing me up under my feet in the dreams where I had trouble.

My last lucid I was flying like Songoku, I was on some alien planet over an ocean with tornadoes everywhere. There was an airplane too, not sure what that was about.
