Im kinda childish

I cant believe this I have this little crush on a sophmore girl in the very class that I am sitting here typing this out. I feel soooo shy about it and I havent told anyone about it. I think that writing it here with her so close might be subconsciously because I want someone to glance over at my screen and discover my secret. Well also because this is the only place that I have access to the internet right now.

I like this girl and she may be the prettiest girl I have ever seen but she doesnt even really acknowledge me. I feel like a little kid because of it. I feel like a little kid because I cant stop this little crush when I know that it wont work. She seems completely indifferent to me not liking me or disliking me. To her I am just some guy that sits on her row in piano class.

I can identify with you. The solution may be easy and straight forward but it is hard to actually go through with it sometimes. You should go ask her out or talk to her, but I understand how frightening that can be to somebody who is shy. There are many girls in my classes that I find cute, but I never say anything.

Why is it childish to be attracted to someone? I think the feelings you're describing happen to a lot of people. It seems like you're only making it childish by acting like it is, using words like 'crush'.

I agree with Australlian Fire, actually. I have had pretty much 100% success by just getting to know the girl, and becomming friends, without any hint that I like her. Just let her know that you think she's interesting, first. Wait until she starts to wonder if you like her. Then wait a little bit longer. Soon, her curiosity will begin to consume her thoughts, and therefore YOU will begin to consume her thoughts. Finally, when you can tell that she can hardly stand it any longer, say something that's completely obvious about how pretty her mitochondria is or something like that, and then go on like it was no big deal. This says to her "Yes, I think you are attractive, but you still don't know if I am interested in you or not." This takes it to another level.
Be sure of yourself. If you are not, pretend that you are.

I'm trying something similar with Dianeva right now. I can tell I'm doing it right because she has no idea, and hasn't acknowledged it yet.

Agreed has been working for me all the time too hahaha It depends on the girl though. Some of them don't like or don't need to be approached directly, and many times if you are not attractive for them you are destined to an epic fail if you ask her for a date without even giving a taste of the person you are ( or in most relation beginnings, who you pretend you are). If they ignored you before they might like who you are instead of primarily what you look like. My past three girfriends have been hunted this way, you enter their world little by little every day and by the time they realise there's something wierd going on they're cooked and ready to be served

Takes time, it's like a chess game, plan your moves, NEVER EVER show you have second intentions ( I even ignored them in the beginning and guess what? They told me they noticed this and felt interested in me somehow). Some girls like direct approaches so it's up to you to use the correct move but what's most important: if you like her go for it, no fairplay here ;P

I feel childish because logically it makes no sense yet I cant change it. Im childish also because right now I am writing this instead of trying to talk to her when she is just about 7 feet away from me.

I cant keep myself from glancing over toward her as I type this. Our interactions are always minimal but I want more than that. Ive told her before that even though I am really shy with most people I would like to get to know her. Even after that nothing has changed we havent talked more at all.

It would be soooo much easier if I had a cell phone girls love to text. I would be able to get her number and text her whenever.

Nobody that I know knows that I have any feelings for this girl.
