Raspberry, I thought the same thing about facebook. And because everyone always says not to post your real info, when I started using FB, I signed up as "Zhaylin"
I don't use it to talk to most people. I rarely post anything on my wall. I love it for the games (Farmville, Gardens of Time, City of Wonder etc....)
If you have even a slightly addictive personality, STAY AWAY FROM THE GAMES lol
I have a large dry/erase sticker that I use to keep track of when I need to harvest what and from where.

New rant: I was sitting on my bed facing a different direction than usual because I was talking to hubby over the perimeter alarm/monitor and I noticed FINALLY why I can't get rid of the fruit flies. Somehow, water had (has?) seeped into my bedroom and got on the carpet under a small bookcase I have next to the door to the bathroom. One of the books had fallen under the case and became waterlogged. When I saw the book, it was covered with countless black dots.
Unfortunately, I had to throw an expensive book away and I sprayed the area. Sometime tomorrow, I'm going to have to unload the case, move it and see what kind of damage has been done and try to figure out what did it.

I'm grrrr-ing over my internet. More than half the time I try, webpages wont load. But if I can get it up, Hulu works fine (no lag). I can also play Everquest with no lag. So, apparently, the internet WORKS. Why wont my pages load more than half the time then?
I'm also somewhat grrrr-ing over my hubby. He wants to go to Sams Club today. I was all for it until he said we're going to leave at 6:30AM. WHAT? lol
Which means, in 20 minutes, I have to go to Wal-mart, buy a cheap outfit, some OFF, come home, shower and be out the door seconds before 6:30. Even when fleas completely ignore me, they seem to piggyback and eat hubby alive. I didn't have enough time to hang clothes up to dry, thus the outfit. The OFF is an extra preventative measure so the fleas don't follow me to hubby's.
Blah... I almost forgot he also wants me to pick up 4-6 cases of Dasani (sp) water while I'm out. I have $40. left lol so this should be interesting. (He'll pay me back for the water though)

I'm upset over a very superficial reason right now. It's Friday and we finally get to relax without the old folk bitching about stupid stuff. The plan was to play some Pokemon with my bro but he decided to watch TV for 4 hours till I passed out from boredom and now he's been on the phone for another 2 while I sit and do nothing.

My "rant" is exhaustion.
Hubby got us going at 6:30AM. We arrived at Sams by 7:20 and were on the road again my 8:40. I'm hubby's heavy lifter and I take pride in my "job".
We unloaded the car: 25 lbs of Sugar, 50 lbs of Rice, endless boxes of Cheerios, Tide and Downy etc etc. My back was already giving me some grief. But then he decided we were going to go to our local Wal-mart and buy their entire floor stock of Dasani Water (containing 24 large bottles) and flats of Coke (24 cans per flat). We made 3 trips between the store and the garage to unload equaling to about 36 flats and 48 cases of water. He hoards this stuff for emergencies (like the end of the world type things or economic collapse or local natural disasters ) Every so often he cycles his supplies and gives me the older stuff to use before it expires.

After shopping and unloading the final time, we ate Wendy's.
Then we went into the brier infested yard to cover two vehicles with huge tarps.

We didn't stagger off to our homes until 1:30.
Then I had to feed and water the dogs, play with them some, feed the cats, let the new dog out to potty. I'm just now able to relax. *whew*
I'm pooped but in a good way. But tomorrow I'll be exceptionally sore!

Rant - I have to vacuum the whole house today, two stories of absolute terror. And the mats outside in the garage. FML.

I have a lot to rant, rave, cry, and complain about but there is one thing that seems to top it all off. Last night I found out my fiance's soon-to-be stepmother (in whose house I am currently staying in) was telling his family that the reason why he can't break up with me is because I threatened to tell everyone he raped me. I am a couple years younger than him and under aged but our relationship is legal in the state of Texas. I have to say that this is the worst possible thing anyone could say about me. I was raised to think that if there is anything is worse than a man who rapes a women it would be a women who claims she was raped by an innocent man. That could ruin a man's entire life. To be slandered in such a way is unbearable. Especailly considering the fact that his Dad has been wrongly accused of such in the past and he was already weary about my age, I will never be able to have a relationship with his dad while this cunt is in the picture. This is just one of the many issues that I have had with her since coming up to visit. It might seem like I am over reacting to some but this is just too much for me. When my fiance finally moves out of this god forsaken hell hole I am going to confront both her and his father. She is going to regret slandering my name and character. Hopefully his dad will hear me out and realize that I would never do such a thing to his son in any case. Why does love have to be overcomplicated by FAMILY nonetheless.

^ Is there any specific reason she would lie about you like that? You might want to talk to your fiance about it as well and then confront them. Just be sure to keep yourself in check when you do though, getting angry might make matters worse and your fiance's father might not want to hear you out if he thinks you're being defensive or whatever.

She is a very lost women. She is two faced and she wants control over my fiance, his siblings, and his father. She has tried her hardest to turn everyone against each other since she entered the family. My fiance hates her. He found out about what she said when I did and he is just as upset. I know that being angry or upset isn't going to get anywhere that is why I am allowing myself to cool off for a bit before confronting the issue.

Shaelyn Your fiances step-mom sounds like an absolutely horrible person. I hope you guys are able to move far, far away from her very soon!

My rant is about the previous owners of my new dog. She is absolutely adorable. She covers herself COMPLETELY up with my blankets lol. She let me give her a bath with flea shampoo. She goes to the bathroom outside. I walk out with her and she almost always follows me right back inside. She LOVES car rides. I have to physically remove her when we get home though lol. But if I move a certain way she flinches and becomes terrified.
The dog would get mean toward the kids and other animals at her previous home. So, an 18 year old brat would throw the dog off the porch. They hit her and scolded her for no reason (not for the aggression but for her being a small dog).
Over the years, I've "rescued" 2 other dogs and a few cats from them. They should NOT have pets. One of the kids physically MADE one of their dogs dig in hard dirt until one of his nails broke

They get puppy's and after about a year, when they tire of them, I get the ones I can. The pound gets the rest

Other than all that, I'm a little sore from helping hubby yesterday. We were going to go on another round this morning, but I just am not up for it.
Crap. I do have to go pick up my meds though before everything closed tomorrow. I ran out the day before yesterday. Grrrr. Maybe I'll just go without until Tuesday.
