      hehe, Grats on your new toy, Vader! I don't know how it would be for what you're using it for. But gosh, 17 is even bigger
      I guess it would mostly come down to your vision, preferences, and distance from the screen. The further away, the better for those larger screens. At least for me. If you're using it in a reclined position or sitting at a desk, it might be awkward. If you're standing, it would be better lol. But you MAKE music on apps and stuff right? Synth (?)?
      It might be better to use it as the laptop.
      If you're used to a smaller screen, be prepared for an adjustment period

      Rave: PT put me through the wringer today. It was wonderful They added more strengthening exercises. They're simple things, but boy I still couldn't fully do some of them!!
      The ones they added were "boxes" and "rainbows". You use a resistance band against a wall. For the "boxes", you start out (1/2 an arms length against the wall) with your hands together and the band looped in each hand. Then you bring your arms out, down the wall, then bring them together again; having worked a box-like shape.
      For "rainbows", you work in segments. Same distance from the wall, but your arms at about the 9:00 position. You pull your right arm to 12:00, bring the left up; then move to 2:00. Then you reverse it.
      I was feeling very lightheaded, at the end, because I always forget to breathe

      I'm pretty sure I'll be using my TENS unit tonight!!!
      I'm still having A LOT of muscle spasms during PT. My arm definitely does not like being raised to the side (like when you raise your hand when you have a question), nor being raised in a similar way but at 2:00.

      Rant: I slept like poo last night. I played on my iPad until nearly 6AM rofl. I tried waking up at 9:30 but I told myself to think again Ended up sleeping until 11:30. It was very poor quality sleep though

      Rave: My "cape" is getting a lot of wear this year. I like wearing tank tops and shorts to PT. I just put on long socks and throw on my cape and I'm good to go. It's amazing how warm it keeps me. I get a lot of strange looks but a lot of compliments too.

      Which may be a testament of just how sleep deprived I am (especially seeing that I never even saw Shrek )

      Meh: I didn't sleep last night. I just didn't feel like it, truth be told. I finally got my laundry done... but GOOD GOOGALLY what a friggin hassle and a half that was.
      I had to wash the washing machine 4 times before I could wash my clothes in it. My son washed momma dog's blanket and the amount of shed fur is concerning for our septic tank and pipes and longevity of our machine! I did 2 quick washes, finding lots of hair after each. Then I did another and it looked like a felt blanket disintegrated inside the drum So no. I actually did FIVE empty quick washes.
      Never again. I'll have to buy a vacuum or something to clean her blanket beforehand.

      Question: When sharing the Shrek remake to FB, I stumbled over a word I use a lot... but I don't think it's the right one.
      An artist can draw on paper, or create something digitally, act, or write. I call those "creative medians".
      I googled the word before I shared it and it doesn't seem to fit (at first glance?).
      What's the word I actually mean to use?

      RAGE: Today was supposed to be of taxiing, PT, Shopping, Taxiing. I didn't wake up until 5PM yesterday, so I didn't really feel like sleeping last night.

      By 10AM, lol, I HAD to sleep and managed to get in a couple of hours. Then I got up, wasted time for 20 minutes, then took the girls to work. Came home for 20 minutes then went to PT. I began PT in high spirits. I was chatty and felt fine... ASTYM, assisted stretched, 1 pound weight in various ways for some 15 minutes, stretches, curls. Felt fine. I did the pullies for 3 minutes, the band exercises for some 5 minutes. Fine.
      Then I did the "boxes, rainbows, steamboats" against the wall. Then I started to do another very basic wall exercise and NOPE.

      I suddenly felt extremely light-headed, nauseated, chilled yet hot, and my bowels felt loose. Friggin great. It felt JUST like a vasovagal syncope episode. But why the heck? I tried sitting for a couple minutes, but that wasn't happening, so I laid right down on the floor. My therapist brought over a foot stool, which wasn't nearly tall enough, so I could elevate my legs. My eyes welled with tears because I was so flipping embarrassed. But I laughed and smiled at everyone to put them at ease.
      After some 5-10 minutes, I was okay enough to leave.

      I got to the car and it occurred to me that the only thing I ate yesterday was 2 slices of chocolate (5:30PM), a 2 cheese burger with bacon and medium fries (7:30) and 4 hot fries (11:30PM). Perhaps I was just hungry. So I got an Arby's Roast Beef and a large frozen coke... but I didn't take even a single sip until I could check my sugar.... which was completely fine at 94.
      My BP was slightly elevated at 143/98

      I've eaten and have had plenty to drink, but I still feel weak, shaky and fuzzy-brained. Gah!

      Sleep deprivation has never been a trigger before. Is it one now? Or was I just in more physical pain than I was registering (pain is THE #1 trigger for me)? Or, do I truly need to get off my butt and have a stress test or something done? This is unacceptable!

      Everyone's disappeared on me again

      Rave/Rant: As much as I HATE having to drive the girls, I do enjoy the scenery. I have "eagle eyes" and use my periphery way more than I probably should But because of that, I've seen 3 hawks in the last 2 days.
      Because all the trees are barren of leaves, and because the hawks (that I see, at least lol) like to face traffic, their white bellies give them away.
      I LOVE seeing them. The rant is that there's never anywhere to, safely, pull over so I can take their picture
      Also, yesterday, I saw one of the largest crows ever. It was bouncing around the parking area near where the girls work.

      Rant: I'm still not 100%. I woke, same as yesterday, feeling just fine. In fact, I woke at 8:30AM (I actually managed to conk out little after 1AM). As soon as I started moving around, though, the lightheaded feeling returned.
      I checked my pulse on the drive home, and it was staying below 75. My resting pulse is NEVER that low unless I'm sleeping
      By the time I picked up my frozen coke, I felt shaky and STARVING- like someone punched me right below where my ribs meet (also classic "duodenitis" symptoms I get). So I picked up some BK as well.

      I only ate 1/2 of my large fries. Haven't touched the sandwich yet (3 hours later). I've drank almost the entire 64 ounce frozen coke though I bought another insulated cup just for the occasion (my butt nowadays- big and way too bouncy )

      Just for curiosities sake, I took my sugar a little while ago: 120. I'm going to have to take it tomorrow morning before breakfast. Maybe 90 is too "low" for me? I may even try to give myself a sort of "stress test" tomorrow. I'll walk around normally, then take my pulse and BP... then do heavier exercises and try to trigger the syncope and see how the numbers change.

      All that said... part of me thinks it's just pain. My shoulder just doesn't feel quite right. I tend to acclimate to certain pains in that the severity of it doesn't quite register (boy but how I wish I could choose WHICH pains to "turn off" rofl- like my back!!)
      I see Ortho on the 21st. Don't know if I'll make it that long if this keeps up!!!

      Oh yeah...
      RAGE: Some of my webpages are refusing to work. CNN and my Fitbit login. For CNN, I ran my internet diagnostic tool and it says my DNS server may be unavailable and to contact my internet provider (earlier it said http instead of DNS )
      The Fitbit page is just all messed up... sort of like it's all HTML only.
      I ran Malwarebytes and everything was okay... cleared my cookies and history etc, restarted my machine 3 times... updated the router, restarted again. They're still messed up

      My machine *acts* like it has a virus, but none of my programs are finding it if there is one. I'll run Spybot when I leave to get the girls. Hopefully, that will do the trick...

      Rage/Rave: I got suckered into taxi duty again today. Their ride didn't go to work because the powers that be, in our State, decided to run with Trumps idea to make today a Government holiday Schools were closed, so the ride was stuck at home with her son
      BUT... twice, on the way there, I saw 2 more hawks in different places. Only, they were closer to the road and I saw their bellies were actually a reddish brown color
      I could have sworn the others had white bellies. Now I'm going to have to turn to Google

      Rave: I treated myself to a McD's big breakfast with hotcakes. So, so, yummy... but my stomach is going to revolt soon

      I don't think I have the energy to work myself up today... maybe this weekend? I am extra sleepy.

      Rant-ish: My zombie dreams have evolved because of the mechanical game play changes made in 7D2D I need to re-strategize how I survive the game and my dreams will quickly adapt. But it still sucks lol. I loved the way everything was BEFORE But Noooo, The Fun Pimps, had to go and make the zeds smarter and gave them digging and jumping abilities to match an improved tracking AI.
      Bah!


      Meh: I've been googling muscles and anatomy and muscle impingement. That words popped into my head last night, but I'm not sure if it fits or not.
      Make a straight triangle shape from your chest and across your armpit- just to the point your fingers make skin contact. That's the muscle in question, but the area is about 3-4 fingers wide. Would that be the "short bicep"? That's where part of my plate is (but continuing to the shoulder head). It's STILL rock hard. I was told it is NOT the plate itself. So could the plate have, sort of, trapped the muscle? Is it dangerous? Will it work itself out? Will I HAVE to have friggin surgery again to remove the plate?
      The 21st is too far away
      It's not painful. But when I work it, I do have a lot of strange discomfort and tightness- except on the opposite side of it

      Oh yes... the saddest update of all. I had to put one of the kittens down last night. I think he was one of the triplets I liked the most: Chatty, because he was the most vocal cat I've ever met.
      I took the kids to the store last night. When we returned, the baby was on Momma dog's blanket on the floor. He was limp and dying. No signs of obvious trauma. But he had dried slobber around his neck and upper back.
      1) He was accidentally trampled while the dogs rough-housed, then one of the dogs moved him.
      2) He was "snapped" (sort of like shaken baby syndrome in the animal world), then dropped onto the blanket.
      3) He was dying of the illness, that inevitably kills 90% of all kittens, and one of the dogs moved him.

      I'd *like* to think it was 1 or 3. The dogs behave very lovingly towards the kittens (clean them like moms etc). BUT, they are still dogs. The puppy likes to chase them and play, and Momma is sickly and can get cranky.
      So, we're going to have to start locking them up in the bathroom whenever we leave the house or go to sleep.
