Thread: Do you spend too much time on dreamviews?

I spent too much time that I decided to leave it for a while.

I would say I do, however I do not post that often. Therefore, in conclusion I just stare at it and do nothing! Oh Dreamviews, how I love you!

Did the same things last summer. Now I'm spending too much time again.

I spend GOBS of time here. Especially in chat, I always make friends there.

Like they said, I spend too much time here, but I can handle the consequences.

I spend way too much time here on Dreamviews, because my mind continues to deny that I can easily make friends in real life. Even though I come here more for interaction, Dreamviews will probably be something that I can go in order to forget about the reality outside my apartment.

When you join a forum where people are the adventurous type (not afraid to find what they believe may be wrong), it becomes a haven. It's always fun to see what other people are up to, and to read their dream journals once in a while (even though I only read mine over and over sometimes to get my mind to remembering my dreams).

If I didn't have Dreamviews as a part of my daily activity, I'd probably be watching Anime or reading Manga online in my free time.

Plus, it's nice to go some place on the internet to see it turn like we're working for Google or something. ( depending how you take things seriously or lighthearted, and excluding the legendary trolls that are within it).

I can handle the consequences because I'm too lazy to find friends in reality in a college/university with 40,000+ people in an area that's spread out, and is literally a world by itself (because everything you want is here, so it's easy to forget anything beyond that).

And also, it's fun having my own little world with the Dream Journal and all, feels kind of fun to record your dreams and only have the community of people who want do so as well to see what you dream about. I do find myself not caring about people outside though, which might become a bad thing if I let it go on for too long.

Totally feel for you there linkzelda, DV is like a drug because everyone is just so damn awesome here

I do spend a lot of time on DV, but all for good cause, I want a LD so much!

DV is really the only place I can talk to people at the same level of what I am thinking, and in terms of how I process things. Most people I know in RL aren't like that. It doesn't make us "addicted" if we go on here a lot to talk to people; it's just another medium to communicate with others. Maybe it's "too much time" compared to other people, but 3-4 hours isn't much to me.

i'm still pretty new so i spend more time just reading, getting to know the different personalities. i usually don't count the time while i'm here. i just come and go as i please. i have personal shit going on (nothing bad) so i probably won't be on as much after the weekend.

I wonder how much time I've spent on this infernal website in total. I was very active a couple years ago, used to spend an embarrassing amount of time here every day. Now, maybe an hour or two at the most every couple of weeks.

me too, like, if you could add up all the hours I was actively on the site. Over the course of nearly 8 years. I have had periods of not being as active, but damn, I still wonder..

Yeah I mean me too, I haven't been around here as long as you but I have had my own periods of somnolence interspersed with unreasonably manic activity. A doctor needs to prescribe me anti-psychotic meds for solely and strictly dreamviews posting.

I'm also thinking about the times when you just leave dv up when you're doing something else on the internet. Still logged in and everything. So basically I want an unrealistically complex machine that has tracked my active periods and made, like, a graph, a spreadsheet, or whatever of the hours I have spent on this website. I need it. I need to know.

This might not even make sense. Had eight martinis so far, can't find that thread for drunk people so fuck it. Doing it live.
